GIANT SHEEPSHEAD LOVE THIS BAIT! EPIC SHEEPSHEAD FISHING with HOW TO and TIPS

We found the bait that works best to catch only GIANT SHEEPSHEAD! Every fish that EliasV and I caught near citation size, just absolute bridge piling giants- so watch this vid for a thorough HOW TO, TIPS, and instructional for how we fished for these massive sheepshead - and caught only giants.
This was my first collab with a fellow youtuber and I was stoked to get out with EliasV Fishing. Elias is a kayak angler but today we got him out of the kayak and on my boat on the Chesapeake Bay.

I use fresh clams down here in NC. If you can find large clams you can get two baits from it. Just make sure you leave the same amount of mussel on each piece. Put the clam on the hook and try to get the tip of the hook through the mussel twice if possible. This makes the fish commit to the bite because it is harder to get the clam off the hook. Sheepshead bite the clam just like a catfish. They just grab it and go. Black drum do the same. In the summer of 98 my wife caught a 15.5 pound sheepshead near south port NC in 4 feet of water. Ps. Always fish were you toss your empty clam shells in the water

I make a jig head like this using pistachio shells and plasti-dip. They look a lot like sand fleas. Add some fish bites for scent and you’ve got it made. Always amazed at the mouth and weird teeth on a sheepshead. Their teeth almost look human. They are the best bait-bandits in the ocean! I don’t think I’ve ever caught one that big. Awesome PB sheepshead. Super video!

I just love the taste of this fish however it is cooked. A really good place to eat them is Hull's Seafood Market and Restaurant in Ormond beach, fl just north of Daytona. You won't regret eating there!

They are called bottom sweepers and I've lost fish from the hooks bending. Blackfish jigs are much better for the jumbo sheep.
