Yuji Itadori, the protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, nephew of Sukuna, and child of Kenjaku. All of the makings of one of the strongest characters in the series. To make this quick, we'll be going over Yuji's stats, abilities, and techniques & then we'll be going over his final fight with Sukuna in order to accurately grasp where he stands among the rest of the cast. With that said, if you enjoy videos like this; don't forget to leave a like & comment down below it'll help me make a guess as to what I should work on next. Now, let's get into it.
Let's start with Yuji's strength. Yuji without a doubt has some of the highest physical strength in the series. Before he even became relative to characters such as Yuta & Hakari; he's been shown kicking massive pillars of concrete with so much speed that it'd make contact with Sukuna before he realized it was even launched. A pillar that size could be estimated to be more than 4 tons, although actual calculations would most likely suggest it to be heavier. He's also been shown to jump 20 stories from two building in order to reach Sukuna and begin their fight. Mind you, both of these feats were within the same exact chapter and from a weaker Yuji than the one we see in his final battle against Sukuna. Yuji Itadori when fighting Sukuna in the Shinjuku Showdown was shown to pull off some insane strength feats by being able to damage a weakened Sukuna with his punches, and throw him into a building with so much force that it'd completely collapse. Yuji as of the Shinjuku Showdown is certainly at a point where he can hang with the best in terms of strength.
Combine this with the fact that Yuji is one of the best hand to hand combatants in the series judging from his 1 on 1 bouts with Sukuna and he's a problem for everybody in close quarters combat. Now on top of all this, he also has this uncanny ability to land the black flash at a higher rate than really any other character in the series. The Black Flash is a phenomenon that creates a distortion in space when the user manages to connect an impact of cursed energy within 1 millionth of a second of a physical hit; serving as like a critical hit. The effects of the Black Flash will cause any attack to have it's potency increased to the power of 2.5 & grant a temporary awakening to the user. This awakening is described to be a state where the sorcerers manipulation of their own cursed energy is as simple and natural as breathing, resulting in a feeling of omnipotence, as if the world itself revolves around them alone. After using a black flash, the user will also be able to operate at 120% of their potential. Yuji himself, has the ability to stack these boosts as he can apparently chain Black Flashes with ease. Overall, Yuji probably can't be beat in close quarters by anybody on his level, as Yuki Tsukumo may be the only character who can match him in this department as her striking power is on a completely different level from the Heavy Hitters and characters in that range.

Yuji's domain is straight up scary, It is pretty much an onslaught of attacks like Sukuna's domain, with the add on that almost no one can heal from the cuts, since those hit the soul and not the body. Kinda poetic that Yuji is now able to use Sukuna's technique with Mahito's effects.

So the binding vow is to not do damage to the body in exchange of making the soul cuts stronger. This just happens to work perfectly in a situation like Sukuna possessing someone else, but it does put Yuji on a disadvantage as Sukuna doesn't take physical damage every time Yuji lands a dismantle, so the battle isn't any easier

Yuji's control of Blood Manipulation should also be boosted due to the consecutive black flashes. He performed a total of 10 black flashes throughout the Shinjuku Showdown. The first enabled him to use Shrine, its safe to assume the other 9 made him more proficient in both his cursed techniques, though he didn't use Blood Manipulation in the rest of his fight with Sukuna. Probably because he focused on using Soul Dismantles to save Megumi instead of dealing physical damage to Sukuna using Blood Manipulation

Soul Damage is unrepairable unless you can envision your own soul. However, the only people who can envision their own soul are very weak when Yuji targets the boundary between the soul of the reincarnated and the original soul. What this boils down to is that you’re always fucked against Yuji, especially his Soul Shrine. Most sorcerers need a big max output technique to bypass RCT. Yuji DOESNT, because you can’t heal against his damage. And on top of that his black flash potential is stupidly broken. Even more so than Sukuna himself.

Cleave = Touching, Dismantle = Throwing. For what we saw, dismantle is most likely made by a binding vow, as none of the Shrine users have used it except for Sukuna. The binding vow is most likely something like this: "Cleave doesn't adjust to the object or person's durability but i'm able to throw it".

Yuji subverts ago of the typical uber powered but no skilled protagonists. He become a bruiser type fighter that actually has esoteric abilities backing him up. Piercing blood, RCT, Shine, Dismantle, Hakari levels of chance to use Black Flash and finally the ability to strike and resist soul based attacks, which is considered true damage and unhealable with just scares. Yuji is a complete monster.

The only reason that version of Yuji could even touch Sukuna was because of the openings Yuta gave him. In comparison Yuta tagged him multiple times, saved Yuji 2-3 times, ripped out one of Sukuna’s tongues, and finally (with Yuji’s help) cut off one of Sukuna’s arms and sliced the other in half.

Yuji wasn’t going for grabs tho? Only time he did was grabbing one of the arms after HWB was undone. Yuji was there to do land hits anytime an opportunity presented itself because he was out of his league in that fight. As shown how anytime he overextended he immediately got grabbed and cleaved. I don't know how people are acting like Yuji, standing toe to toe with 19 finger Sukuna, longer than anyone, aside from Gojo, and sometimes even alone, isn't like the craziest feat in the entire manga. I see people still clowning on him. -He has DE -He has RCT -He has cleave -He's nearly physically immortal, unbelievably tanky -His raw physical capabilities seem to even outmatch Maki at this point -He can directly damage his target's souls, which can't be healed with RCT, its permanent damage, which is pretty fucking awful for anyone to deal with as we saw with Sukuna eventually succumbing to it, this also ties into his domain where he can SURE HIT your soul -His will and conviction are so strong, even Sukuna acknowledged him as being like an unstoppable force -Last but not least, he seems to be able to tap into "the zone" better than even Sukuna and Gojo and can black flash people seemingly at will, which allows him to do incredible damage, but also reset his longevity in the fight and allow him to recover -* edit, forgot he has blood manipulation as well lmao Yuji is a legit monster, easily special grade, too, especially if Geto who got pieced up by baby Yuta was special grade. In the Sukuna raid, Yuji's domain basically let him land a sure-hit dismantle on Sukuna's soul. He outright admits that he just kinda threw it together on the spot though, so who knows what it'll do once he has time to properly construct and practice with it.

I believe that in Yuta's domain it wasn't world cutting slash since to perform that Sukuna would have to do shrine sign and point at a target and it was more likely just a chanted dismantle so that's why Yuta could live to swap with Gojo. It would make more sense and WHY do people still call divine flame technique furnace? Those were mistranslated leaks. Official chapter has divine flame so it is divine flame.
