Thats an oversimplifcation. It may have not been as adult as Clone Wars but there’s far more to the story than just escapades.

Rebels' lore was aimed particularly at the younger audience. I myself, as a kid remember watching the first episodes of it and already considering it darker than The Clone Wars had been. However, it is clear that for the more mature audience, TCW seems to handle the plot and character deaths significantly deeper and more serious.

1jonde1 You continue to give good Star Wars related videos. Your "Spark of Hope" video used to be my favorite of your work...after seeing this video...it has been surpassed. So... Season 1 - Spark of Hope Season 2 - Rising Darkness Season 3 - ? (maybe "Unifying Forces" since it's about the Allience coming together, the holocrons being combined, Mandalore reuniting, and Kallus joining the rebels) either way I can't wait for Season 3's video. What an epic tribute to Star Wars Rebels! I loved it so much I now want to add spanish subtitles to show it to my little cousins that are still struggling to learn english but adore Rebels. Unfortunately, the add translation option is not enabled. Could you please help me out with this? I am sure my cousins and more spanish speakers would love this video if they could understand what was being said.
