@@Thatsilveraygo yeah but they also have the manifold build into the head like the new BMWs so i dont know how good that will be for boost.I dont know if the blocks are interchangeable.

I have this type of engine in my Daihatsu Cuore/Mira L276. It made over 70.000km in 2 years, including very much high speed (high for a 3 banger) Autobahn driving in Germany. Fuel consumption is very low, sound is great and there's no end in sight! The Japanese know how to build engines. ❤
@ismiismaelАй бұрын
Hi Did you used 0w20 or 5w30 engine oil ? Thank you
@___Steinn___Ай бұрын
Actually, I use 10w40
@ismiismaelАй бұрын
@@___Steinn___ thank you ! I just purchased the cuore l276 and the owner put a 5w40 and i was worried because in the manual they say to put 0w20 instead
@___Steinn___Ай бұрын
Oil consumption is higher with thinner oil, so I use a bit thicker one. Also because i drive a lot of Autobahn at higher speeds and higher rpm. It consumes more when the rpm is high for a longer time and with the 10w40, I don't have to top it up so often.
@___Steinn___Ай бұрын
@@ismiismael btw, congratulations on the purchase! These are great and absolutely reliable cars. I've got mine for over 2.5 years now, made over 80.000km and the only thing I changed was a rusty exhaust pipe and tires. No problems otherwise.

Thanks for sharing! I was wondering where it was stuck. I got it out eventually. The one with the stud was easy, but the bold was just horrible! Took me 2 hours. In the end I shortened the 10mm socket to get some more space to move, but it won;t get back. Perhaps only the stud one... :-)

My friend what engine oil you use in your engine? Its bright new!! What sae and brand? Iam using 5w-30 fully synthetic but i have a huge consumption of oil about 700 ml per 1 k ,and iam gonna put 5w-40 hopping to see better oil consumption...🤞
@Thatsilveraygo2 жыл бұрын
This engine has 0 miles on it, but I use 5w30 as intended for the first generation of the 1KR-FE, the MK2 preface-lift is meant to have 0w20 and face-lift 0w16 as does the MK3

Very good question and I have a simple answer, it's only in import vehicles so the only way to get the engine is import the car or buy the engine from a dealership, neither sat well with me as the cost was way too high for an extra 30bhp which I managed to make without a turbo

Which generation/year t-sport is the injectors from? Do they fit stock, or do you need to modify them to fit? I have an IQ that would need some more oumph. Found some other video a while ago where the guy mounted bigger injectors and got more torque out of the engine. Thing is he needed to modify the injectors to fit, which I'd rather avoid if I can. Good job with the video man! Well done.
@Thatsilveraygo2 жыл бұрын
1st gen, wouldn't fit them without tuning as the injection timing may remain the same and could dump more fuel unnecessarily
