Great video - but when I tried to refit the fan the 2 screws would no longer grip - resorted to glue but no idea if will hold

Thanks a lot for this video! I have my R519 since 2012 and cleaned it for the first time. Behind the fan I found a black layer of an unspecific material. :-) The fan sounds much better now, less noise. I would like to ask something. When I opened on the left down side of the motherboard, I believe it was written the word Bluetooth. Does R519 have bluetooth? If yes, I would love to connect my laptop with a speaker.

I think Bluetooth was a option it is listed in this product spec : www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-15-6-inch-Notebook-Celeron-Processor/dp/B002WE0EE4 Maybe look in the device manager to see if there needs to be a driver installed. I believe the driver is included in the "chipset" drivers you can get from Samsung support. Please consider subscribing if you have not done so already!

You jump 03:01 and you didnt show us how you lift up the keyboard. I try to follow your steps and the keyboard is stack and doesnt go out.. How did you release it? :(

Hi, first make sure the keyboard retaining screws are removed from the base kzbin.info/www/bejne/gprWgnePZph3qcU Look closely along the top of the keyboard and you will see 3 or 4 small clips protruding from the top cover. You need to push these back with a small screwdriver or knife while at the same time applying upward pressure to the keyboard. It should lift up a little as each clip is released.

If it is not booting then check the heat-sinks for the CPU and graphics chip are tightened down. If it is booting but no display check with an external monitor to see if the graphics are working, if they are then the cable that connects the display to the motherboard is not seated properly.
