@@mraycgz my 1995 had a pristine dash with 357K miles on her with not a crack in it. One day I had tacos from the taco truck and I sat the plate on the dash. It was covered with tinfoil so I didn't see the grease dripping off the plate down my dash. The next week my dash cracked RIGHT where the carne asada oil ran down the dash. SO I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE PLASTIC dressing they sell is the reason there are so many cracked dashes out there. Poor people thinking they are "protwcting" their dash when in fact they are destroying it. Isn't that a shame. My 2005 has never seen dressing and has no cracks with 250K miles on the ticker.

Doing something against the rust in the cab floor & frame should make it a pretty stout spare truck, once the driveshaft is fixed up or perhaps can source a used replacement & some front end stuff is looked over too make sure nothing is unsafe for the road or carrying heavy loads I'd imagine this would be a real workhorse.
