1RC 1/18 scale indoor carpet RC oval racing. Big Chief Points series race at ERC

Welcome back to JBTrickleRC everyone!
In this episode we cover a Big Chief Points series race at ERC (Easley RC Complex) Located at The Hobby Connection in Easley SC.
This is a race towards the end of a series that was ran between Fountain Inn & Easley.
While I didn't get to cover as much as I wanted this year for the 1RC Racing I have many more episodes planned for the near future including never before visited tracks to keep you up to date on various locations.
Also, huge thanks to CJ Mason the race director of the series for allowing my KZbin Channel to supply the trophies for the kids "Little Big Chief" series. The kids are the future of the sport and hobby so we need to support them as well.

Great question lol. You can get dizzy corner Marshaling for sure. I did at times. But when you are driving and focusing on your car it isn't a bother.

Do these cars use traction compound? My local HobbyTown got a bunch of these cars and they said they're going to do racing with them! Like you said these cars are getting popular!

Madthunder some racers do, or should I say most racers do lol. As to what they are actually using I'm not 100%. I still want a latemodel but have a few other RC projects in the works for the channel as it is lol. Since I haven't personally raced them yet I'm not exactly sure what they are using.

@@jbtricklerc Ok! So is charcoal lighter fluid good traction compond for carpert? I usually use SXT sauce but I usually have to order it they don't stock it at my hobby store!

@@maxthunder2 I do know some people have used it. I know some that have used lighter fluid for various things from prep to cleaning foam lol. Is it good? I cant really say, I've cleaned with it but never used it as a prep itself. Most of my racing has been on dirt or paved oval. However I do plan on racing carpet some this year as well. I do know some carpet tracks have very strict rules regarding tire prep on their carpet tracks as well. May want to verify that depending on where you may race to be safe. I've heard lots of good things on the SXT sauce but no personal experience with it either.

Hey Doug, I apologize for the delay in response. I never got the notification for this message. I'm not exactly sure of the size honestly. But it's definitely perfect for 1/18 1RC racing.

What are good/fast race batteries??

Hey John. Are you speaking in general? Or strictly for these 1RC cars? If for the 1RC cars I'm not sure. I believe they only run a couple battery options here locally. If in general for sat a 1/10 car I've had great luck with SMC batteries personally. I hear R1 Wurks are doing great batteries too.
