don't let the looks fool you, loch raven is heavily pressured by boaters/rental boaters/kayakers/shore fisherman. Fishing @ loch raven is very tough. edit: it's also heavily pressured by anglers because it's the only reservoir where you can fish from a rental boat that comes with a trolling motor.

Being checked is a good thing! It's nice to know they are regulating the waters and keeping our the riff raff that could potentially ruin our waterways. Florida actually offers a free saltwater shore license to residence and "people" still manage to break the rules...

They check in NJ and then they use the money from fines to buy new boats and 4 wheelers and chargers.. instead of cleaning up the waterways to prevent fish kills, stocking fish, and trying to get more "inner city" kids involved with respecting and enjoying Mother Nature

Been years since I fished there. I don't think I have ever been sunked there. Have you even caught a Pike there? Been told they are there but never caught one. And you should come up the Susquehanna in PA and you with find 3 pound small mouth sometimes.

I had a DFG let me go when I didn't have my license at all... only reason he let me go was because he didnt have service to look me up in the system. I got lucky. went out and renewed my license next day lol

@@dylanbeard7350 I got a life jacket ticket in TN and ended up buying a big boat that I needed my boating license for so I had to pass my boating safety exam. I passed it and went to my court date for the life jacket, they told me I could have it dismissed If I passed the boaters safety test and since I already had passed it and showed them my card they dismissed it before it even went to the judge. Didn’t even have to pay court costs. Don’t know where you live , but worth looking into!

My dad and I are from southern Maryland we use to fish lock raven reservoir years ago it was some good fishing there, we were planning to make a trip there to take both my boys since they are die hards at fishing and love fishing they are only 6 and 3 years old, they are always fishing behind are house on the Potomac River catfishing, perch fishing, catching snakeheads but we love watching your channel keep up the good work man.

The fishing here is good but you aren’t catching toads every cast like Texas or Florida. So I get just as excited when I catch a nice bass (3lbs+) as he does. So I enjoy watching him fish. Dude i love how DNR Ranger pulls up checks your license than says , you see anyone else out here fishing??? using you to bust the law breaking anglers , in all my 26 years of fishing i have never once been checked my for license , Dude i full heartedly wanna thank you , because of you i love being a bank angler with 5 normal tackle binders and 2 holiday tackle binders and a cooler to hold my hotdogs and maple sausage and a backpack to keep my softbaits and tacklebinders in with ziplock bags so i can bring home bream aka bluegills i catch , Dude you have saved me 3 years of headaches by switching me to the backpack. I often use a “snap” only when I’m fishing treble hook lures and it’s no problem. I avoid “snap-swivels” unless I’m fishing an in-line spinner - good luck my friend! 🎣😎

@@1Rod1ReelFishing I gotta say, it's better to not use a swivel with an inline spinner the body should be stationary and only the blades spinning, so adding a swivel allows the body/entire thing to spin, and that adds friction and actually slows the spinner down. going direct to the spinner makes the blades spin faster and better. But if you like spoons like me, you're going to want to use a swivel with a spoon because they rotate around the line and will cause you tangles and knots after a while.
