IIRC initial D8 is about 5k for a pair (may or may not have offline server), so that buyer is doing good.

I know a lot of people see MK4 as the black sheep of the series (probably more the 4 or so games that came after it till MK9 rebooted everything) but its a very fun game, also the original Kano actor as Quan Chi on the side art is pretty cool. Also house of the dead and Time Crisis 2 are my fave shooters

@@ElectricStarshipArcade There was a Tekken Tag Tournament cab in my local arcade, probably 20-ish years ago, before the Playstation 2 version of that game ever came out, that was the official release of that game. I think "Tekken games with big f-off screens" is just how they're made.

Prices are crazy now. The most I've ever spent on one of my arcades was $400 for a Ms. Pac-Man in 2011, the other 7 I have or had were under $200 each. It's been a while though, the last one I bought was probaby in 2015 and was a Mortal Kombat hacked(pretty horribly) into a Stargate cab playing blind. The monitor was shot and I ended up giving the cab to a friend to build a multicade for his son. I still have to board and eventually plan to just use a vga out to a projector, unless I find a decent jamma cab at some point. Thanks for the video.

Not very many people there. I'll be at next month's auction, but I don't like Ad Astra. I'm not going to bid against people sitting at home on the internet.

So instead of others bidding you up, you'll have the auctioneer himself fake bidding you up. ;-)

@@TheGeekPub The sellers fake bid because that is legal in Texas. If you are sure that Ad Astra doesn't allow it then I will have to take your word. But I have also gotten machines for pennies on the dollar because no one was there to out bid me. I'm sure it goes both ways.

@@richardscroggins2096 When a reserve is publicly disclosed and the seller bids on their own item, I believe that is legal in some states. I don't believe it is legal for the auctioneer to bring his own items to the auction and then make up fake bids on the spot until he likes the price, in any state.
