1st Class Smoking Room (Day Time) - Titanic: Honor and Glory Demo 401 v1.4

The first class smoking lounge of the Titanic's practically identical sister ship, the "Olympic", was removed in one piece in 1935, when that ship was sold for scrap, and can now be seen (no smoking allowed anymore but a fine lunch is served!) in the "White Swan" Hotel in Alnwick, Northumberland, U.K.. The ballroom was also removed intact and was installed at the works of Akzo Nobel (Alfred Nobel of Peace Prize fame) in nearby Haltwhistle. That is not open to the public, but I was fortunate enough to see it, many years ago. R (Australia)

Everyone is wrong it was yellow my grandad told me and he builded the ship

@@bobbyrayofthefamilysmith24 that is so cap. If your grandad helped built the ship, lets say he was around 30 in 1912 so that means you'd be like in your 80s-90s...

Not accurate! Titanic's floors were carpeted and the tabletops were lined with green baize! The interiors shown here are based on the Olympic.

That was in the James Cameron form 1997 and at that time there wasn’t accurate depiction of the interiors like for example they fought that the reception room was carpeted and the dining saloon as well when it had linoleum floors movie not in real life Also there are pictures of the Olympic and the floor tiles were Green and crem and red and blue
