About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

I am an American, so my comment may mean nothing, but here it is... I am so glad that Jonathan is going to school there in France and is becoming integrated into the local community. As he becomes more a part of the community, you all will as well. Somehow, I think that is important. I understand Brits buying chateaux is a thing (Goodness knows I watch enough of the channels!), I know language is a difficulty, but I worry that many of you are little British islands in France and are not integrating yourselves in your communities. To both of your detriments. (I have voiced this concern on other channels, as well.) (Hopping off the soap box...) This was a lovely start to the Christmas Season! Thank you! Happy Christmas!
