Classic. That is the music for those screen shots gezza. Wouldn't it be good to go back to that era for while. When australia was still raw. No all clinical like it is today. 🤙

Good old Keon Park station. A Ticket Examiners paradise back in the 70's for keeping the court lists full.

Incredibly hard to pay attention to a video when Scorps' "Catch Your Train" is playing... it's just about my favourite song. Great footage as always. Thank you.

Melbourne looks like a real dump in this video. Used to catch the train at Reservoir station and rarely bought a ticket. On the odd occasion the inspectors got on I got off and caught the next train.

Railways weren't a great business model in the 70's, no stations were manned after 6pm apart from Flinders St or major Hubs so you couldn't buy a bloody ticket even if you desperately wanted too. Great footage Gez but like I said in Marco's last post, maybe a steadier hand would've been a little easier on the eye!

Love, love, love the video. So many memories for me of Melbourne from decades ago. 👍 Sorry though, I wasn’t a fan of the music.

11:59 and not one shot of anything close to beauty. Not a tree in sight or any planning. What a complete dump. The not so good old days
