​@@NicksHomeRenovations That makes sense. When the dishwasher is on, then waiting for them to dry, you can use the other dishwasher to load any dirty pots that are piling up instead of having to put them on your countertop or in the sink which would be taking up space and looking unsightly.

It will be interesting for you to assess your return on your investment once you are all done, whilst I know you plan to live there long term its always nice to know your hard work has been rewarded. My dream house will have a walk in fridge, a walk in freezer and a walk in pantry with a marble shelf. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 The freezer because I do a lot of my own baking, bread making, meal prep, etc so need plenty of freezer space to store it. As long as I have those with a large kitchen and large sewing studio I can fit everything in the space left. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Hi Nick. When it comes to decorating the inside of your home, I recommend Noah Daniel’s 4 golden rules video on KZbin. He’s an architect & interior designer and I’ve found this particular video very useful, especially in mid century modern homes. Also, excellent on KZbin are Paige Wassell, Tara Talks Design, Lisa Holt Design (an encyclopaedia of design), Charlie DIYte, Nicole Manke Home, Lone Fox, George Dunnett and The Sunday Times Living with Style David Gandy. Howdens are always excellent value for internal doors, although you will need someone in the trade with an account. Front and back doors you’re best speaking with a window fitter to get the best deal with their manufacturers.
