Me and my brother picked up golf this year. We went 4 times. Next year we plan on going at least 10 to 15 times. I shot a 125, 124, 105 & last time we went shot a 106. So pretty much improving everytime out there. Thx for the videos I love the tips and advice you give.

I am working on my 68th year . . . My oldest son (37yrs old) and his bride took up golf just to play with me on Fathers’ Day and my Birthday . . . We play a Scramble Format just to keep it moving and fun . . . Shooting below Par is our goal . . . the beer is always cold and the memories created by the fellowship cannot be duplicated anywhere!!! I am a terrible putter but I recently went to a brand new PGA superstore here in my town, I putted with several putters and had the usual results, then I picked up the Lab Golf Putter, OMG! I drained 6 in a row, the only reason I missed number 7 is I got lazy and had the heal of the putter up off the ground, I made 3 more putts after the miss. I wish I could have afforded to buy that putter right then and there, but I will have one sometime in the future. If You get the opportunity to try one I think you might like it.

You should have come over to play in the R&A Boys and Girls Championship 2023. It attracted some amazing 15-18 year old golfers from around the world and was hosted by my home club Ganton in Scarborough UK. Maybe one for 2024.

Gabby, I know what you are going through. I went from shooting 70-74 most of the summer of 2023 to shooting 75 to 77, and then from 78 to 83 since the beginning of October, with an 85 this week with a birdie on the 1st and 18th holes, carding a back-to-back Triple and Double on 2 consecutive holes, and a run of 9 consecutive Bogeys after starting off -1 under through the 3rd hole. My ball striking remains good, but my putting is terrible, mostly the short ones, but also my strength, my lag putting, has deteriorated leaving myself second putts past 4 feet. Too many 3 putts and even some 4 putts. Perhaps it is negative talk hurting us both? This week I was -1 Under going into the 4th hole, smashed my drive to within 50 yards of the green, hit a great pitch that I thought could go in, only to find that the green sloped severely past the hole and my ball rolled off the green and I made bogey. I convinced myself before my 3rd shot that I already was going to make Bogey 5. That is when my trouble began and didn't go away until I birdied the 18th final hole. I was LIVID after a Bogey on 4. I convinced myself that the Universe, and the Greenskeeper, was against me that day instead of letting that bad luck on #4 roll off my back like water on a duck.
