I'm 31 and I still go to the range with my dad. We have always shared this hobby together and it definitely brought us closer together. Those kids are pretty good considering their age. You should take them to shoot sporting clays or maybe even take them deer hunting or something. That said, I'd be interested in a review of a Centurion 11.5" with the HRT heavy profile barrel. I can't find many reviews on youtube for Centurion rifles even though they're very, very well regarded.

I hope you are going to give Griffin the attention they deserve and do a fallow up video explaining all the details of the Griffin M2. Most people know that Griffin makes excellent silencers, but for some reason their guns fly under the radar. Just looking at first glance they look like any other AR platform, but a closer look reveals some attention to detail in the areas the matter. The MK1 and MK2's are excellent choices for the decerned shooter looking for a gun that is very well put together and shoots extremely well suppressed and unsuppressed. I know there are a few options out there that do as well, but with that being said, these are defiantly in the top tier of this list of options. The way these guns are gassed and tuned from the factory make them a pleasure to shoot. Also, the attention to detail when it comes to something as simple as mounting the gas block down to the design of the charging handle along with their own lower receiver extensions, QD end plate and buffer system shows the pride this company has when building a product. This attention to details also shows itself when you look at the way they designed the rail to cut down on weight, but still have the rigidity for devices that need to hold a zero. This same attention to detail carries on when you take a look at the treads of the barrel for the muzzle device along with the beautiful black nitrided finishes on the bcg and barrel. I could go on, but rather I hope you will run this gun hard and then with the collected data, put together a review this gun deserves. Thank you for your time.

yea, the MK2 lower is pretty much the same as the ADM UIC lower fully ambi but for half the cost. But then Griffin and ADM collaborated on that Ambi Lower. Best of all, they are both in SE Wisconsin.

The griffin cans are exceptionally low backpressure. They aren't full flow through (well their Dual-loks are), but they are no where near as gassy as others. They also perform phenomenally in the sound and flash department. This can is many orders of magnitude quieter to the shooter and bystanders than the flow556k
@TellyTubby-ht5xs Жыл бұрын
Have you shot both to compare? And how are you measuring them to be “low back pressure”? And the term flow-through can only be applied to Huxwrx cans as that is their patented technology. Griffin can’t apply the term flow-through to their products and it’s not accurate to describe them as such.
@Faustian_Spirit Жыл бұрын
@@TellyTubby-ht5xs Well, that's why it's not called flow through. However, some of their cans, like the Dual-lok have front slits to expel gas out of the front of the suppressor. They patented their ecoflow system. I have 7 of the most recent GA cans, along the both flow Hux cans. I would take the new GA lineup any day. The difference in sound and flash is worlds apart. They aren't negative back pressure like the Hux. However, I don't even have to tune my guns with a GA can, and the GA guns are pretty gassy. On my Criterion barrels their even better. They aren't even close to as gassy as a rc2, yhm t3, sandman-s, enticer, or sierra 5 (these are all cans my buddies own which I've compared against).

The biggest thing is the ambi lower and suppressor. They put so much work into the ambi lower. Their suppressors are always top notch. Griffin is such a dark horse in the industry. They are finishing construction on a 60,000sqft manufacturing plant. They invested millions into tech like robotic arms and autospray. They make everything in house and really care about QC and product quality. After the Dead Air debacle people should realize how important it is to buy direct from a manufacturer and not a marketing company.
@nickadkins7765 Жыл бұрын
You do know that ambi lower has been around for 10 years right? It's the same lower that you would find on an American Defense Manufacturing rifle. ADM acquired part of Griffin Armament 10 years ago. Griffin and ADM developed that lower together essentially. I have an AMD4 lower on my 13.9 build and it's exactly the same! It's great that Griffin uses it now because the ambi controls are the best out of any manufacturer IMO! And Griffin's price on this rifle is about $500 cheaper than a "comparable" ADM rifle using the same lower. I'm very interested in this thing lol
@goawaybaizuo Жыл бұрын
@@nickadkins7765 I'm suprised you know that much history. I'm very impressed. However, Austin from GA developed the ADM ambi lower. He was actually the person marketing it at SHOT 2013' (I think that was the year). However, ADM cut them out and pattened it from under their feet. At the time they didn't have the finances to pursue an expensive lawsuit. There are changes. Austin improved on his original design. They want this ambi to be affordable for everyone, and not gouge people. I cant say for sure, but at some point they're going to sell it as a stand alone part. GA gets a bad rep for being hostile towards some companies. It can seem unwarranted, but there is a lot of stuff which happened when they were just starting out that people dont know about. At the end of the day GA is customer and quality focused.

@@nickadkins7765your background on the Griffin/ADM relationship (or lack thereof, actually) is inaccurate. Griffin released a podcast episode recently giving a broad overview of how that relationship never grew into anything profitable for Griffin, despite countless man hours developing the original AR project.
@austingreen3888 Жыл бұрын
@@nickadkins7765 ADM didn't legally acquire anything from Griffin Armament, because they never paid Griffin ten cents of the perpetual royalty (as in during and after severance) to execute the agreement in good faith. Griffin paid ADM its former vendor cost, and 1/2 of gross profit (sale price after paying that cost) for the duration of the agreement. It represented a massive cost for Griffin. It wasn't sustainable and the zero royalty that was paid during and for the ten years after the agreement makes it crystal clear that ADM didn't ever intend to honor the agreement.

ADM acquired part of Griffin 10 years ago (or they did at that point in time. Idk about now), and yes they were developed together as I learn it. I have an ADM4 lower on my 13.9 build and it's EXACTLY the same as the lower on the Griffin MK2 rifles. However I did not know about the royalties situation. If that's true, that kinda blows and makes me look at ADM a little differently.
@abolishtheatfandrepealthenfa Жыл бұрын
@@nickadkins7765 I only started looking into it the other day when I saw Griffin post about the new ambi lowers. I listened to a 20 minute podcast where the owner of Griffin spoke on it in detail.
