I think your work from the first weeks of the program is really good. I especially love the portrait of the young woman with the orangey background that you don't think is so good! Your parrot is really amazing. I look forward to painting colour onto my parrot underpainting, though I found that the subtraction process was amazing. I felt like I was Michaelangelo finding the sculpture underneath all the stone! I loved just the two-tone look of the underpainting.

I'd like to take the Milan course. I'm a little apprehensive because I barely even sketch. Just some small things. They say even if you've never even held a paint brush BUT...I've noticed that most people who take their course have an artistic background. What is your view on this?? Love your videos! I live in the U.S. and my best friend is from Denmark ❤😊❤❤

thank you for sharing your experience. I'm considering this program for the near future but I worry I won't have enough time to combine my work with this art program. How did you manage to have enough time for everything?

Hi Diana. Thank you for your comment. What I do is that I make a schedule every week where I block out when I'm going to paint, and when I do everything else, and then the trick is to stick to your schedule ;) I think you have to think about how badly you want an art career. I know that I would never be happy with just keeping my current job forever, so it's a huge motivation to have such a soul-sucking job. Are you happy with the situation you are in now, and the job you have? Or do you dream about an art career? If you want a career in art then it will never happen if you don't put in the time. But I must say that I think I am much closer to my goal of quitting my job and being a full-time artist now than I would have if I had not followed this program, it's nice to get some guidance on what way to go, so in that way, you will end up saving time by being more clear on what to do with your art.

Hi Julie, do you think one can go on n complete this course successfully without a mentor. Cuz for me as it is ,course is kind of out of budget as am without work due to health issues- 2040 dollars in my currency will cost me over 1.5 Lacs in my currency n $300 per month ( over n above the course fee)for a mentor is something I can't afford right now. Or should I wait to enroll when am in a better financial situation n can afford the consultation with a mentor? P.S- am not an artist. I have zero knowledge of painting. N yes your paintings are lovely🦋

Hi Divya. It is possible to do the program without a mentor, a lot of people do that, maybe even most of them, I don't know, and a lot of people in the program are also beginners, so I'm sure you will be fine. The videos are very informative and give really great directions. You can team up with some other students in the program to make your own little study group, and give each other support and critique on your artworks, a lot of people have also done that

Hi julie, could you plz tell how the payment method work? Like if i pay the first month installment that is 200$ then how much course content would i have access to? Moreover, when do we have to make the next payment, on the completion of the content that is provided, or on the completion of first month? Thank you! 😊

Hello Julie, thanks for your humble sharing. I am still considering whether to join this ornot. How do you get comment or answers when you face challenges in the process if no coach is hired? is your work submitted going to be sort of graded or comment by the professionals?
@juliecelinaart
@juliecelinaart 2 жыл бұрын
I think you will still join a Facebook group where you can ask questions. Your art will not be graded. There are different options for support along the way so I think you should take a look at what they offer

Your work is beautiful 😍 I'm hoping to enroll soon in the Mastery Program 🙂 How do you obtain the source pictures - do you need to have a color printer?
@juliecelinaart
@juliecelinaart 3 жыл бұрын
wow how exciting, are you planning to enroll next time they take in new students? I know they say we should print out the sources, but I have just had them on my computer. It is absolutely the best thing if you can print them out, you can either buy your own printer, borrow a printer from a friend or go to a printshop and have them made

is the course selective with who gets to join or does who everyone who enrolls get a spot? what are the requirements?
@juliecelinaart
@juliecelinaart 3 жыл бұрын
Everyone can join the course, but there are a limited number of coaching spots, so if you want a coach to help you through the program you should apply on the day they open for sign ups again to make sure you get a spot
