Do uou have windows open while you are painting? Do you wear gloves to not absorb toxics through your skin? I know you're a teacher n know best, but im worried about your health in the future. You're a lovely lady! Kuddos from USA!

If you view yourself as a professional artist I think you put too much pressure on yourself. Don't be so worried if people like them or not. As the masses like crap paintings and do you really want to do these. As you can buy these in Walmart or in a market.

Please show us how you get those misty effects. Like Turner. No abstract is not easy at all to do it well.

Sounds like you are doing a review for them. Im just worried that the art looks slick but a bit gimmicky. Sorry to be so blunt. Some of your art I like. The Danish painter online has some great ideas. I think you will like her art. I like Marlene Dumas Gerard Richter and Peter Doig and Cecily Brown. Its really hard coming up with a unique style that has something special. We think here in Oz how nice you are you.

Its great to see the young still listening to our baby boomer music like leonard Cohen and the Beatles. You seem much more sensible and realistic than when we were young. I was an art student from Norwich UK and now im old but still very young too. Great that you collect things from the street.

I'd like to take the Milan course. I'm a little apprehensive because I barely even sketch. Just some small things. They say even if you've never even held a paint brush BUT...I've noticed that most people who take their course have an artistic background. What is your view on this?? Love your videos! I live in the U.S. and my best friend is from Denmark ❤😊❤❤

The Milans say it's about 20hrs/week. I honestly do not know how people do it. I have chronic pain and fatigue, a part time job and a family. I wake up tired and fall asleep at 9pm. I really want to do this but it's just not sustainable for me. It would probably take ne 4 yrs. The frustration!

Do they encourage you to make videos when you enroll in their programs? Just wondering. I've seen other students videos also.

The big draw is supposed to be that you will make a living income from your art because of their program ..yet she shows us not a single photo of her work nor whether she is a working artist or what income she is making. If this is the best they have to show I am not impressed.
@Mistiquex6 ай бұрын
😑Didn't you read the title of the video? It's a review about the program after she just has finished it. I This is not a video of showing art or her progress, it's obvious from the title. Couldn't you think that to see what art she created you would need to look to another video of her? 🤦♀️
@wormwood81916 ай бұрын
@@Mistiquex I actually spent quite a lot of time watching their videos. But it just makes sense that if you critique an art program that you would show the results of the program---as that would be the best way of convincing people that it was worth the money they are asking. Most people who do work resulting in a material product will include images of that product, no matter what it is. However I personally don't think it's worth the money. A person can watch a free youtube channel that shows all the techniques of master artists as the poster paints similar images. One can also find free college classes in any subject- including art - on the internet archive. But some will disagree and that's fine.

The Japanese "twins" are beautiful and your work is skillfully done. With respect, I used Google Lens to learn that the script is Japanese and the Lens app also translated the words. Example translation of some of the text in your painting "kept his hands safe from the shaking of the ship . . . " "I continued my journey without stopping". Was fun to explore.

So funny, your least favorite painting was my favorite! Hehe. Goes to show how art is relative. Beautiful work! I'm in week 6 and hit a bit of a wall, my basement flooded, life got big, so yeah, I'm trying to get back into my rhythm so I can keep up, even with the chaos and construction in my house. Very inspiring! Thank you for your videos!

I am in week 6 and enjoy seeing other artists work that went thru Milan. Thank you for sharing, your art is beautiful! I love the colors, I enjoy working in muted colors myself. Your work is very inspiring! Well, back to the grind, that fat over lean painting isn't getting done by itself lol. Have a beautiful day everyone! Happy creating!

Yours are the first paintings I’ve seen from a Milan Art Institute student/graduate which don’t look like Elli or Dimitra painted them. Not that the others aren’t nice, but yours truly showcase your own voice. They’re absolutely beautiful!

Hi Julie, Love your muted, simplified landscapes with the quiet, thoughtful figures. Looks like a Japanese influence but with modern figures. I wouldn’t over complicate them, the simple backgrounds are great…I would keep the figure’s clothing more simple to. Loved the walk in the snow painting….would have been better without the stag…more modern and contemporary. That painting didn’t need the stag, it has enough presence without it. The painting you sold was stunning, very characterful and charming….loving the Japanese influence but it is still fresh and your own take on that style. I wasn’t so keen on your portraits, they don’t have the same vibe and presence. I would keep your work more simple and contemporary, they definitely have a vibe and freshness, I think you would do really well with that style …..which is something unique to YOU! Good luck …I definitely think you are onto something now with your work. I would keep pushing on with the Japanese influence but with your modern freshness. I am excited to follow your journey!!! ❤

Julie, yours is the most advanced work of Mastery Program students I've seen so far. I have a feeling that this programme might not have been the right fit for you but I hope you persevered as the business training would probably be the most useful part for someone of your skill level . I love your work, it's very unique and I hope you'll continue to grow and develop as an artist.
