@@danilodepaiva not really, if what you end up making in the final board is mostly endymion then the deck is an endymion deck since the purpose of the deck is to get to the endymions faster

@@livingstone1084 You have a good point and I agree with you, just not totally in this case. This deck mostly wants to abuse servant to tutor out jackal king, and the mighty master just happens to be a compatible plus, not really sticking to the main monster as the main character. Like I said, I have nothing against it and actually like the criativite that takes to come up with these kind of decks, but I cant help but to think that calling it a "endymion" deck is kinda of a clickbait. I get you point tho :)

Mastery automatically gives 2 counters. +1 Activation/Resolution. +1 For controlling it. I added Crowley with 6 spellbook cards. Also Garuda at 3. Side 2 MST.

Learn the basics of the new mechanics first. Endymion is probably one of the most technical decks out there. I'm back in yugioh after a 15 year break and I'm still learning the deck.

I think that's better in Pendulum Magician, because you can play one that's searchable by Duelist Alliance, because Duelist Alliance also searches Pendulum Call.

@@TimeIsAHoax I get that it would be more consistent in pendulum magicians. In the case of Endymion/Mythical beast you're just drawing into pot for a +1 wile banishing 10. Wile drawing into Pend halt is a +1 that you can use after you're done searching if you're using grasp like he is. So what I'm really asking is, is which +1 card would be better in this deck (Endymion) not what deck would pend halt be better in. If that makes sense haha

@@antithesismajor3818 that does make sense! Often you have to activate Pot to get that third counter and before you have any monsters in the Extra Deck. Desires is always live, which is why I prefer it in Endymion.

Jackal King negates and destroys monster effects by removing 2 spell counters on the field. His pendulum effect summons any Mythical Beasts monster from the extra deck (if there no card in the other pendulum zone)

I know it's an older card that has been power-creeped pretty hard, but have you guys considered the original Endymion, Master Magician? With this kind of deck, getting spell counters on Citadel (and Lab if you're running it) can special summon him from the hand, get back one of your better "one-of" spells, use it, overlay into something like Big Eye, drop Master Magician for effect, sac another 6 counters to revive him from the grave and get your spells back again

Does nothing first turn. This deck needs all the cards you can play to set up your board, and if you have that many spell counters then you have better uses for them.

I did get this deck just recently (well, ordered everything i need). I had to pay like 60€~-ish. with everything in german first/unfirst (cheapest things i could find for me, still near mint etc) and i dont have borrelsword.

@@scabs354 I bought the 3 structure deck for $30 but the Mythical Beasts would cost around $75 for the engine ($17 Cerberus, $3 Jackal King, $14 Garuda. I was lucky to get a Cerberus in a megatin) and it's up to you whether you want the pure build or use either the Pendulum Magicians or Spellbooks along the way. Extra deck dont really need much just use Electrumite, any Borrel link, Zefra Metaltron, Absolute Dragon, and Vortex Dragon

scabs3 Made this exact build not too long ago. Got 3x order of the spellcasters for about $16 (had a Target gift card). Mythical beast engine cost me about $47 ($32 for 3x Cerberus, $10 for 3x jackal, $5 for 1x Garuda). Total was about $63 for the main deck. I also already had Ash Blossom and CBTG. Obviously, for some people that sounds expensive but for a good, consistent powerful deck not too bad at all. The extra deck I’m still building. Picked up Borreload for $6.50 at my local shop, got Electromite for $7. Also got Number 11 for $1. Also got the Synchro magicians for about $5. Total spend so far on the extra deck: just about $20 Total cost: $83. Probably won’t get Borrelsword anytime soon, too expensive for my liking. Anyways that’s the price you’re looking at.

I think he use grasp just to use deck faster and still profit of the second effect of power mastery. I've see version with book, but the structure deck is pretty new so lot of deck list are coming. In his version he use way more mythical beast card than some other list too.

I don't know if you can, but when you make the video it would be nice to use a sound application to remove the background.
