I’d say that Counter Strike is p5 Strikers equivalent of Rivers in the Desert (not that there isn’t a strikers remix of that in there too lol)

So glad you enjoyed it! I'd definitely recommend you play strikers first to get the full P5 story. Something you should know though is that Strikers is a direct sequel to VANILLA P5 and not royal. Meaning Maruki and Kasumi/Sumire are not in strikers and all events including them did not happen, however we do get some brand new characters who are also awesome. If you'd like you can watch the Vanilla P5 ending on youtube to know exactly where you're continuing from. Also I would totally watch a reaction to Mystical Ninja starring Goemon. I had the same sort of feeling when this song came on during the boss fight (Won't spoil who) and when phase 2 of the boss fight started there was a mini cutscene where counterstrike started playing and then it continued into the boss fight and the fight started as soon as the song beat dropped, it was perfection and made that boss fight super rememberable. One of my fave boss fights not just in a Persona game but of all time.

Ahhhh, very interesting that the Royal stuff doesm't really "exist" in that sense. Mystical Ninja is so dang good, man. Have you played it? I got sucked back into Baldur's Gate 3, so...you know. We'll see when I get to someting else. I've got some HUGE games on my plate. Strikers is on my wishlist though! I'll watch for a sale.

It's because development for Royal and Strikers started around the same time and the royal stuff was nowhere near complete to be able to make it into strikers. Royal was completed and came out first but it was originally supposed to be strikers first then royal after. It's a shame but strikers is still incredible. I have not played Mystical Ninja myself but I've seen bits and pieces here and there, I'm aware of it but never played. I'm interested about that song you were talking about.

@@YamatoSumeragi Well, this is all the encouragement I need to do the MNSG video then. Haha. Honestly, I can't complain about the Persona stuff. It is what it is. Weird, but doesn't bother me at all. The experience is totally top-tier. Looking forward to Strikers when I can get around to it!

Yeah, I have the same opinion. It's unfortunate but doesn't take away from the game or bother me too much. Once you've played strikers, give me an update on your thoughts. (Also I made another buy me a coffee donation and there's another Strikers song waiting for you, you're welcome).
