Great to see you back out, Trev. You can still camp at both Roos Tor and Great Mis Tor even when live firing is taking place. The flags are on these tors because they're prominent landmarks and denote that firing is taking place in Merrivale Range; the actual boundary runs to the north of these tors.

I absolutely love Dartmoor, hoping to get back there soon for another multi-night solo adventure… I’ve not been there since the amazing hot/dry summer we had this year, so I only have rose tinted memory’s of camping on various Tors down there lol. The best way to double peg is to “back-stake” using the cord on the first peg! 👍🏻 Are you aware that they are trying to put a stop to ‘wild camping’ on Dartmoor, some very wealthy land owner is dragging it through the high-courts as we speak!.. If and when, then we all need to get together for a “mass protest camp”.. I’d really hate to see them outlaw it on Dartmoor!! ⛺️ Even though it’s 250 miles away from where I live, I’m very fond of the place and the memory’s I’ve built up having had several trips down there this year, and I’d like to have many more adventures to come down there in the South! I have a real soft spot for all the pony’s too, they just make the place all the more special to be..

Hi, I share your love of Dartmoor, I have a theory of the stone circles, I've studied Art for many years and symbolism is a key factor. Hey Trev! Cracking video looks like you had fun! Made us chuckle 🤣 We’ve found when you plug the usb c from the volta into the media mod port when the GoPro is already on, it kills the mic jack on the media mod (we use Rode mics). It seems the GoPro defaults to it’s internal mic on the actual GoPro not even the mic on the media mod. We have to do a power cycle on the GoPro after plugging or unplugging the volta or we have no sound from external mics/media mod! It’s caught us out a few times! Onwards and upwards 👍

Hi Peter, the large is a little less (470g's to the UL80's 560g). The R value though is much better - the UL80 always required a secondary mat in colder times which obviously takes up more pack at more weight - the Thermarest is amazing - you can feel it kicking heat back at you. Also it packs down to the size of a pack-a-mac. I wish I'd got mine sooner!

I do like the space in that tent Trev. This time your erection looked pro 😂.Can't remember dreams whilst wild camping but probably do. I usually fall asleep within about 20 mins but occassionally wake up a couple of times in the night, either because I'm a bit chilly or need a drink or a wiz, which I never do at home. I think the longest I've ever woke lasted about an hour tops.

Yea, proper proud of my erection, John! 🤣🤣 Sounds like you settle easier than me under canvas. Cheers for watching!

Try reaching out to StezStix Fix? On youtube He has a go at repairing all sorts of electronics, he may not fix your camcorder but don't hurt to try if no one else will do it🤷♂️
