Camping in a Storm - Extreme Wind & Rain!

Will we survive camping in a storm with heavy wind & rain!
In this video me and our Fenzel go up onto the moors to test the 3ful Gear Taiji 2 out in the wind. it was supposed to be 20mph plus 40mph gusts which I think the tent would have been able to handle but it ended up being more like a storm with constant 40mph with stronger gust and it was just too much for the tent.
I was also testing out the new Light Tour sleeping pad which has a high R-value of 5.8 that's been ASTM tested.

So I started off with watching exploring videos of buildings, I love a bit of paranormal too, in there. Great video Gaz. Superb filming, a choice of music forming a wonderful atmosphere and the entertaining chatter. What a wild night! It sounded like hurricane force at least. But it must feel wonderful to be out and about in the wilds, living one with nature. I'm so envious. I think wee Fenzy has the most wonderful life a pupper could ever hope for. ❤ amazing! Reminds me of a trip to New Brunswick Canada where it poured rain for 5 straight days.we had a great Woods tent, but ut was saturated with water. I dug trenches all around the tend to evacuate the water. I was a great natural park with alot of history, but my goodness our timing was bad 😂

We have a shit load of ticks in Oz....when my Bear was alive, we used advantix by Bayern (I think). Do you have to worry about that in UK? On a side note...Bear was a blue heeler x bull terrier who was my fur kid for 19 years. She LOVED camping and was the best danger barometer a girl could want. Saved me from camping near a crock wallow, saved me from a stream full of leeches and also saved me from creepers more than once. Best dog ever....irreplaceable. Still miss her.
