I was married to a teacher for 12 years. You're a better man than me John, I couldn't take being treated like a child. Everyone has medical issues, so we do the best we can. Enjoy everyday because it will make you better. Already I've lost 38 pounds, my BP is normal and I don't need half my meds. Philippines is giving me a life extension. Hopefully we have a baby soon. 22/64 here 😆

Thirteen months ago I underwent a surprize quintuple bypass open heart surgery. I was in the hospital for only five days afterwards, and they sent me home to recover. My mahal took great care of me during the next eight weeks. She made sure I did the things I was supposed to do, and didn't do the things I wasn't supposed to do. She made special meals for me and watched very carefully to ensure I got enough to eat (no appetite at all the first four weeks.). She dealt with all the oxygen hoses which were a real pain, and making sure I walked a little more each day to build back my strength. During the times when my brain just didn't want to function properly she would throw me into the back seat of the car and just drive me around at night until I began to come out of the psychotic stages. Never a complaint on her side even though the whole experience disrupted her life tremendously, and caused great concern on if I would even make it thru. A few months later I met an elderly man who was at that time undergoing the same as I had experienced -- except he had no one at all to take care of him at home. I felt so sorry for him.

John, I got a question for you, I am 56 married to a 27 year old girl from Thailand. Happily married several years. Here’s the question if you do anything to upset your wife from the Philippines and you don’t realize that you’ve done something that’s upset or does she get quiet and stop talking to you and just says everything’s fine but then won’t talk for a while. I always know when my Thai wife is mad at me because she won’t talk to me for a day or two and then she’ll finally come out and say what I said that angered her. Does that happen in your relationship? It drives me crazy other than that. I love my wife, but communication is so important.
