Yamabiko Wood Art

Yamabiko Wood Art

Күн бұрын

I have begun activities to regenerate trees that have been cut down for various reasons.
Sawdust is reused for various purposes.
In this video, a woodlathe is used to woodturning to create a vase from logs.
What vases can be created from this log? !
I'm glad if you can see it until the end.
Post my work and work landscape on Instagram. Please follow if you like.

小さくではありますが、様々な理由により切られた木を再生する活動を始めました。
この動画は、日本の柿の木の丸太から木工旋盤を使って花器を製作しています。
手法は、ウッドターニング(西洋木工ろくろ)というものになります。

@@YamabikoWoodArt Yes, it was clear that it was rotten, which means it was old and the microbes worked on it for a very long time and well. I guess it didn't differ much in density from a roll of toilet paper. It is very difficult to work with such fragile wood. But you were able to do it and create beauty. Have a good rest of the weekend, too.

@@YamabikoWoodArt In products like yours, any natural defect in wood or a change in the shape of the product, under the influence of temperature and humidity, becomes a bright face of the product and makes the product unique. @@glennworton2494 no it is not, I kno when it vibrates! The squeaky sounds are only at the start. ALSO vibrations have a distinct sound to them. The sounds I am speaking of, is the sound of the gouge CUTTING the wood.
