@@Auke1993It actually had an extremely small chance. Signal Beam has a 10% chance to cause confusion. And in Gen 4, a confused mon has a 50% chance to hit itself in confusion. Meaning that Wooper had a 5% chance of making it out of that situation if both events happened. But given how unlikely it is to hit moves with a 70% accuracy, that 5% chance may as well have been zero 😔

The amount of times that Doom Desire gets pulled in these battles is actually crazy. There's always at least one or two in every video.

Not sure why certain moves have increased odds, but it's not a metronome battle without an egg bomb and a doom desire. I'm also so confused why Mega Kick isn't a fighting type move.

I feel like I see duplicate moves often enough to believe Metronome isn't fully random. Then again, it could be coincidence too. I'd be very interested to look into the coding of Metronome in each game.

What a savage group of matches; so much back and forth between the combatants... Except for Wooper, poor little guy didn't stand a chance...

There have been some cases of repeat moves. I've sort of found how to avoid it happening, at least as commonly as before, so it should be less of an issue now.

Cresselia: Hits the 30% miss chance on Focus Blast Omanyte: Hits the 30% hit chance on Horn Drill I am just stunned lol

For Omanyte it was a 53% chance to hit Horn Drill. From Gen 3 onwards, every level the user of a OHKO move has more than the opponent, there is a 1 point increase to the accuracy.

Roselia is a bold prediction. Any reason for it? I 'want' Slowpoke to win outright but Registeel I think has the best chances... which of course mean nothing if it decides to Memento itself. Kind of hope something really silly wins and not some legendary or well known 'powerful' pokemon but quite a few of those have fallen already.

Roselia's ability Poison Point was the main reason I believe. There's a few abilities that I thought could make the difference. Tyranitar's Sand Stream could be huge, as could abilities like Flame Body. I also hope that a small and generally weaker Pokémon will win the Tournament. That'd be most exciting for me.

Sorry Roselia lost, she had a good run. However, I'm amazed how Dragonite held it down in that match and Lopunny blocking Nosepass' comeback was insane.

At least Roselia was beaten by another Pokémon with Poison Point. That ability was one of the reasons I predicted Roselia to do so well.

SPOILERS! Weavile would been one-shot by Low Kick and lost if it didn't Power Trick And Doom Desire claims yet another victim Cresselia and Omanyte having a stall war until the latter lands Horn Drill Roselia screwed up more than Seadra did Loppunny got really lucky with the turn 1 Surf crit yet it did NOT OHKO Nosepass right away. And after getting paralyzed enough to make Nosepass goes first, and actually made Metal Burst worked! Gligar froze Dragonite with Tri Attack!? When have we ever got a freeze hax in the metronome tournament so far?! Dragonite however just immediately thawed the next turn that it didn't matter

Doom Desire again! Freeze hax is big, but ended up being not important. Seeing Metal Burst work was exciting.

It's not only the first time we've seen a move freeze, it's also the first time we've seen Tri Attacks effect activate at all. In spite of it literally having 2 chances to be rolled in most colosseums.
