631 - My Hunt for a Shiny Groudon Costume in Pokemon Battle Revolution (16 shinies!)

(I may not be super responsive to comments until after S/V release) I will update this pinned comment with answers to frequently asked questions as time goes on! 1. Why Groudon? -There are 5 other costumes: Roserade, Pachirisu, Kyogre, Lucario, & Electivire. Groudon & Electivire are the easiest in terms of their colosseum challenges, AND they appear to be the ones that can be hunted with Perfect Point rematches! Groudon also happens to be my favorite because Ruby is my favorite Pokemon game 2. I am NOT the person who was in an article about this hunt earlier this year. That was ProfessorTops, and his video on this hunt will hopefully be up soon!

I've got an arbitrarily difficult challenge for you: All 7 shiny Minior. Minior is (currently) only available in Gen 7, where every shiny Minior is black. However, once one is transferred to Pokémon Home, it appears as a dark version of one of the seven colors of the rainbow. It would be super neat to watch you theory craft and grind out the best way to approach this challenge

Around the sixteen minute mark you showed a counter. And I had that exact counter back in middle school. I'm pretty sure I got it from a counselor to help me focus. I loved my counter so much but eventually it stopped clicking. I decided that to get a final bit of enjoyment from it, and to possibly fix it, that I'd dismantle it. I learned that the metal bit you press had gotten bent and after fixing it I attempted to put it back together but I could not. Anyways that counter meant so much to me and seeing it was a blast of nostalgia.

This video made me realize how much time I've wasted. Seeing the dates go by over the course of 5 years really hit me. Even if it took you 5 years to finish this hunt and and you had a 2 year gap from 2017-2019 you still did what you set out to do. I've done nothing in that same amount of time. No goals, no ambitions. I've just lived day after day after day like a zombie, only getting worse in the process. Shiny hunts in these old gen console games are really fascinating, I've played Stadium 1 & 2, Colosseum, Gale of Darkness, and Battle Revolution when I was a kid and I wasn't even aware of most of these shiny hunting methods let alone the possibility of seeing opponents having shinies.
