One of my favorite songs by Welch. He's certainly come along way. He ditched drugs and alcohol and turned to God. He accepted the Holy Spirit and it changed his life and relationships dramatically and he's become and awesome Minister. There are all different types of artists to reach different cultures. Christian music doesn't always have to be the slow, soothing type or the old fashioned organ music. It can also be metal. He's trying to reach a specific culture with a certain Mission Statement. Everyone as a different way of bringing people to Christ.

Brian Welch is indeed saved. God cleaned up his life and set him free and open his eyes to the truth that it's not all about drugs, sex and money but about a relationship with the one true God. Brian can be a Christian and still sing metal and have tattoos and piercings because he got those before committing his life to Christ. Look at Stryper, they're a metal group and they're Christians and as is Petra. Myself for example I'm a fan of metal, rap, country and other forms of Christian music. And music is an art that a singer or group share about their love for God and use it to worship their Creator. God looks at the heart but people are too quick to judge myself included that if an individual wether male or female sings metal, dresses in black and has piercings and tattoos and a weird looking hair color than they're satanic and not Christian. If I never get to meet him on this earth, I will look forward to hanging out with him in heaven and worshiping Jesus, forever, in heaven, with Brian and all my other brothers and sisters in Jesus. The Word says that we will be surprised as to who is in heaven and who is not. The Word says that many will come to heaven, in Jesus name and expect to get in, but the doors will not open for them. That though they did things correctly and in the name of Jesus, they failed to have a relationship with Jesus, they failed to know Jesus, to love Jesus, to walk with him daily. I should have known all the legalistic Christians would be here criticizing this man. You ever wonder why people call you hypocrites and condescending? It's gotta be difficult to lead someone to Christ when you distance yourselves from those who are ready to be accepted into the kingdom and you deny them based on what music they listen to, or in this case, play. Jesus came to save us he also taught us not to throw stones because noone of us is without sin.. Dont throw out the baby with the bathwater as we say in Swedish (a saying).. Jesus is a radical teacher of love and also the saviour of the world who came to save us! The bible is the best attested historical text of the antient times there are over 5000 coherent copies of the original manuscripts datinf from 150 year AD to 1000.. There are like 5 copies of Ceasars or Alexander the great people whos histiry we wont question. The Bible is a solid source for truth.

Deen Bright If you don't trust the Bible, because men wrote it, why trust anything? Why trust school? Men wrote the stuff that's taught there. Why trust evolution? A man came up with that. The Holy Spirit guided the Authors hands to write down what God intended. 2 Timothy 3:16 says "All Scripture is God-breathed..." Also you asked about the accuracy of the Bible, there are lots of historical sources that back up and support what the Bible says. We can talk more if you want.

Joshua Jenkins Oh I Believe in God But I don't believe in the church nor the Bible I think the Bible was at one point unaltered by the tainted hand of man. But as soon a a new version came out I lost my trust for it because every human has there own veiws if there was only one type of Christian out there then it would be more believable but we got Catholics Mormons Lutherans and many, many more all because other people had there selfish view on how God truly is. And with all these selfish versions of the Bible floating around I lost my faith for the Bible and the Church. But I never lost my faith in God. What is important to know is that someone made me I dont know who, but he has my eternal thanks for that is all I can give him.

Deen Bright We have literally thousands of manuscripts of the Bible that agree with each other. Over 5,000 to be exact. It has not been changed over the years. Yes, there is some bad translations, however the message is the same. Except in a few translations which cults have made like The Jehovah's Witnesses, their Bible has a complete different message.

I can't stop listening to this song! I am really touched by it! I used to like Korn, but when I came to know Christ I stopped...when I heard about Brian I was so happy, and then I understood...God can transform and save ANYBODY! You, me and Brain Welch, Korn!!! :D My hope is that people may be touched as I was with Brain's life, his story that is what God is: Sure salvation to anyone who believes in Christ alone! :D

I used to listen to Korn back in the day lifting weights growing up but I'm very glad he broke out of sin and used his talent for the Lord. Im very impressed with the song and everything. I watch "Washed by Blood" and "Save Me From Myself" everyday. I love the way Head puts it out there raw how Jesus loves us enough to shed every bit of His blood for us. I was a drug addict/alcoholic for many years and certainly relate to "Save Me From Myself". I have to see the actual video because it makes me play the tape out to where I'd be if I went back to my old life. I've had the gun in my mouth and mounds of dope on the table, but Jesus showed me I am the truth, the life and the way!

Amen!! You cannot put God in a box. Jesus Christ is very alive today, He is the only answer to any problem, He is the only One who will truly give you rest and peace, He's love goes above all understanding. This testimony of Brian 'Head' Welch certainly glorifies Christ!! Jesus Christ came to rescue sinners, He died on the cross for our sins.
