2.0 tdci Mondeo mk4 noise - solved

I've got a mondeo 2.2tdci from 2012. Its hard to turn the steering wheel compare to other cars and other brands. But i have no noise when im turning the steering wheel. Just bothers me that the steering is hard. So I changed the fluid and replaced with a new tank. No changes.......im dissapointed.

What was the problem? Mine sounds similar and i thought turbo about to blow

Hi you commented on my post on talkford I have a whining noise between 2 and 3k rpm and you asked if it sounds like that! It sounds exactly the same as when you move the wheel and have the whine although I have checked the power steering fluid and it is full!

I replaced the power steering fluid, cleaned the filter in the bottle and the noise has gone.

How many liters did you use ? Thank you in advance

@BlueBirds Caravan Cleaning I replaced the pump. The oil and it didn't stop

@BlueBirds Caravan Cleaning so I ended up replacing another pump, and the complete steering rack
