Sunseeker's Manhattan boats are probably the best designed mid-size yachts available. I don't know if I would go for the 3- or 4-cabin version -- there are advantages and disadvantages to each. I love how the crew cabin was used; that's perfect! Thanks for another great tour!

Wow what can I say. She is just gorgeous. I love this version with the 3 cabin layout. You are right it does feel bigger than 68ft. Where the crew cabin would be, fantastic use of the space. I actual prefer that. This is the one for me if I win the lottery. I'm also guessing its the standard 250 nautical mile range. Are there ever any options to have a bigger fuel tank fitted. As always, thank you so much for bringing this boat to us Nick

Boats like this use so much fuel that the added fuel tanks just aren't really viable. I'd imagine she carries a good couple of tonne already, double that is huge amounts of space and weight and for the milage you gain isn't really a decent sacrifice.

What are those two yellow boats on the river? This was a really interesting one for me because of all the tours you have given, I've never seen a boat where there was so much I thought was fantastic and so much I didn't, and, as you said, so much of it is customized, and if it works for the owner, that's all that matters, he or she is the one paying for it. mixing and matching the wood like that is insanely difficult, and when you got into the lower decks I was really impressed with how they pulled that off... its kinda crazy to think i just watched nick for 34 minutes and it felt like 5, and a normal show is 20 minutes(with 10 minutes of commercials) and it feels like an hour.

Great vessel Nick, very impressive. Just out of curiosity, if this particular size and layout is intended for North American/Asian markets and on the assumption the company wholly manufacture their yachts the UK, how would Sunseeker normally deliver at such distances. It must be quite a complex and expensive undertaking in itself however it’s done.

All things being relative I suppose if you’re able to buy and operate a 2 million pound yacht like this the delivery costs are probably a fairly minor consideration, nevertheless it must be a slightly harder sell for Sunseeker perhaps when competing with say a North American Yacht manufacturer for the business?

Maybe I missed it, but you talked about being out for a while, but was there a washer dryer? I would think if this was a greater than a weekend cruising boat, it would have a washer and dryer or the combo. I assure you that us Americans like clean clothes.

I would have it where the fridge is in the master cabin. Many people would put it in the crew cabin but I think it's not convenient to go that far to take my laundry....

The cabinet opposite the helm should have been made dual purpose as a bench seat. It looks a bit MFI. Why no washer dryer? The beach club is a bit naff. I think they could have made better use of the whole stern end.

What a fantastic boat and review! I often think with the boats you tour Nick that they try to fit as many cabins in as possible, and this one shows 100% the way I would go! Makes so much more sense unless you have that many friends you want to take out at the same time (although I guess with a boat like this EVERYone will want to be your friend) Incredible boat Sunseeker, now where did I put that £2 million quid...?

Love the light interior, feel I would prefer a seating area next to the internal helm rather than that storage unit, when your cruising im sure it'll be more comfortable to sit next to the pilot and chat. Its very obvious with Sunseeker a lot of thought goes into their lighting, nowhere feels dark, very cleverly lit. Love it!

Those sorts of facilities can be found in almost every marina and harbour though, if you've specced the boat so it's purely hopping port to port down the coast rather than offshore for any length of time then no need.

owners sky view compromised to dodgy secret hatch into guests/nannies berth.. I did acoustic trials on Pred 83 ten+ yrs ago the midship owners cabin was ken noisy underway and the bed is headboard down when moving, OK if you like these things.

Wow! When you opened that door for owner's suite...that was nice and unexpected. I often think of Sunseeker as overpriced boats like Aston-Martin and Jaguar for cara. But the level of detail and craftsmanship is amazing. Cruising the Med or the Caribbean. I would hire a captain though and enjoy myself.

Wonderful layout. Having a proper enclosed (and private) shower in what would otherwise be a small and no doubt seldom used crew area is fantastic. And yes, who wouldnt want all the extra space for the master cabin. Must be lovely to do a relaxed tour after dodging all the other boat show visitors. Have often looked across from Poole Quay - funny to see it from the other direction :-)

Boats are very different to cars. An expensive BMW 7 Series (for example) might be worth next to nothing in 10-15 years, that doesn't happen with boats. If you look at a boat that was expensive new 15 years ago, it's probably not worth a lot less than it cost then. But important to remember that the buying power of that amount has deteriorated over that timeframe too.

The multi color / texture goes away too much even different materials on the two salon sofas. The silver oak is great. The lower deck layout is nice. The helm door looks very skinny, but that might be the option. I agree with not trying to squeeze as many sleeping spots as you can, sometimes it gets extreme. Line storage, not rope storage. Water filler and diesel filler should be in small boxes ~ diesel overflow on your teak not pretty. Like the lit bilge, but no gaskets on the hatches and doors ~ rattle city when underway. A non seakeeper gyro points taken away. Always opt for the bigger engines ~when you have the boat loaded and a dirty bottom you are going to loose a lot of speed. Plus bigger engines do not strain as much for a given speed. Less wear and tear.

Being a near retirement 60 year and unsociable, my X95, will be spec'd with only 3 cabins (not 4) - I could not think of anything worse than sharing my pride and joy with 7 other people plus a crew of 3 or 4. There will be no need for a main deck cabin, rather a large - very large salon main deck. The beauty of these boat builders is their flexibility - the main flexibility though I need is increasing from 3 to 7 numbered balls coming down the shoot to complete the payment... :) Thanks Nick for another superb tour.... just love the way my life is leading.. I just dream of the X95 and will allow you a tour.... but am too shy for a meet the owner...

Very nice but i'd be buying the slightly bigger Princess 75 with 4 cabin layout and Jacuzzi on the top deck,I think Princess are next level with their craftmanship,materials and finishes.I also prefer the forward Galley on the Princess over the Aft Galley on the Sunseeker.

Honestly I don't see the use of that little seating area instead of 4 cabins on 70 feet! I'd have the 4 cabins! Second is size of flybride! Look at at princess f70fly or new y72 and the flybride leaves this for dead! It's just to small I don't get why they did that! Also princess feel more beamy! More space! I'd take the new y72 or a used f70 princess's! Happy sailing all ⚓🛥!

This would also be great in "The Meds", stern to berthed of cause :) Just imagine, if you had some very good friends you would like to spoil, you could offer them the owners cabin, and they would be havinng the floating hotel room stay of their life :) The VIP would be ok for most owners.
