2 1/2" Febco 860 rebuild

I have a question… what lube do you have good luck with for Backflow devices. Especially the smaller 009M3 and M2. I like the one that ships with Febco parts but can’t find a tube of it.

I use aqua flow lubricant va special 10. My local supplier has it. it comes in a little 1 oz. container. www.shopbackflow.com/1OZ-LUBE.

If a spot that tight it probably would have been easier to just remove the entire seat by unbolting the seat off the body of the backflow. Rebuild the check then put the entire check/seat assembly back in.
