The empirical cycle captures the process of coming up with hypotheses and testing these against empirical data. It characterizes the hypothetico-deductive approach to science. In this video you learn about the empirical cycle and its 5 phases. Being familiar with the empirical cycle will help you to keep the bigger picture in mind when doing scientific research.
