Several holes in your argument concern CC... #1 - As has been mentioned, she is also a league-leading talent in assists; #2 - I haven't seen this year's stats, but last year she shot 44% from 25 feet or further. That's better than most do from 22' 2" ; #3 - in the Semi-final last year with South Carolina, Caitlin had more two point baskets than 3 pointers. They were so concerned with stopping her outside shooting, that she consistently drove around the defender for a layup, or if the post defender jump out on Caitlin, she would hit Monica on the pick & roll or slip to the basket. If you're going to play the hater, you should probably get your facts straight. That was the same problem Sheryl Swoops had... who later claimed she was just giving her opinion. I guess she must think the truth doesn't matter as long as you frame it as "your opinion." Yeah, right. I'm beginning to see why Kelsey Plum said that the time in her career leading up to and breaking the NCAA women's scoring record back in 2017 was one of the toughest she's had. Don't know why people have to be haters. It says more about them than it does about the player.

@scotthall Thank you for that excellent comment. Everything about it is 100% accurate!

Didnt she have something like 13 assist that game???
@Your__maker3 ай бұрын
And 13 turnovers the game before that 🔥

Can you say "blowhard"? This dude is clueless about Clark and her Iowa team. It was her big night. She was most likely given the green light on any shot. Who are you to question her and her coach? Absolute stupidity!

Well that was an enlightening opinion on Caitlin, you must of been a hell of a basketball player in your day.

Look at CC highlights. She hits those shots all the time.

Early in her college career, she made passes to her teammates, but they weren't expecting them and didn't catches them.

Gosh Rob you need to pay the utilities if it's that cold in the studio.

If she is so selfish, how does she have over 1,000 assists?

She knows she can make it and score for her team. She has rebounders to get the ball if she does miss.

She has the green light on her shots!

😂 Ben ask how can she shoot that then says she makes them all the time!! Make that make sense please

Rob must be best friends with Sheryl Swoopes. Quit living in the past and if you're worried about the kid's game tell the coaches to teach basketball with plays not running up and down the court.

So many easily proven false statements...too many to list. Do you even listen to yourself spew? 145 subs is about right.

So many bad takes. She makes those shots at 40% a clip, and is leading the league In assists.
@SharonS-fn2ym3 ай бұрын
She wanted to get the record over with. And she leads the country in assists. Selfish? Really? And I guarantee you are not a Caitlin Clark.

He would be benched because he couldn't hit the shot!

The 'pro' league 'women' do not want her.

How do you know she’s going to have issues in the WNBA? Because a couple of lesbian players who do not even know her said she might not fit in? Also, she has made hundreds of those long shots. She does it at a high percentage. You have no idea what you are talking about. She leads the conference in assists - she is not even a remotely selfish player. Your comments make you sound like you watched her play one time. Also, Iowa’s roster is better than you think. Hannah Steulke scored 47 points last week in a game where Clark had 15 assists.

old time league, the G.B. Packers have 13 championships and two 3-peats in there, BUT, you don`t hear about that `cause it ain`t " super bowl era".

Everyone wants to avoid that she averages (rounded) 5 turnovers a game?
@Your__maker3 ай бұрын
Statistically every assist she has she has a turnover.

Caitlin is talented but has a lot of questions marks on her play and leadership at the next level. Paige Bueckers is a much safer pick as far as wanting a generational talent with locker room chemistry.
@smalls31873 ай бұрын
What leadership qualities is Clark missing? Stat wise Clark is an overall more rounded player than Buecker, Iowa’s locker room respects Clark so not sure what you mean by locker room chemistry?
@patrickoconnell593 ай бұрын
You might want to ask her Iowa teammates about her before you spout off with baseless assumptions about her lack of leadership. She is a great leader, and humble.

Wow, this might just take the cake in terms wildest out-of-thin-air take I've ever seen about Clark, foh. If people don't think she'll be good in the WNBA, fine that's an opinion, but to declare that Clark "has a lot of questions marks on her play and leadership" as if there's evidence for it when there's absolutely NONE is just beyond the pale. OP hasn't responded to anyone in this thread yet, wish OP would have the stones to actually reply and back up that bullshit, would love to hear it.

@@darchon5 theres a reason Paige was the starter and Caitlin was the backup for team for the 2019 Under19 roster, the scouts and people who actually play the game know more than we do.
