The wnba needs to do something about these refs. There were 4 or 5 missed calls on obvious falls on cc alone not to even mention the other miss calls for the rest of the team. It's been fever vs the refs the whole season, they are allowing teams to be over physically with the fever but not allowing them to be physical back. The possession that really made me angry was when Caitlin clearly took a charge on loyd on the post up and there was no call and then cc comes back down an clearly gets clobbered on a layup and no call. It's just absolutely ridiculous.

Every team will play four games in seven days, mostly on the road. That's why the coach needs manage her minutes. Indiana plays Saturday and Sunday: if Clark plays 40 minutes Saturday she will likely play bad on Sunday.

I’ve gained a lot of respect for Sides tonight watching her finally fight for Caitlin against the bs no calls, and then having the guts to openly criticise the officiating, schedule, and lack of practice time in the press conference. They really were dealt a shitty hand by the WNBA with this schedule, so they could squeeze as much publicity out of Clark as quickly as possible. & the refs consistently allowing her to get rocked night after night without calling it, it’s a recipe for injury and burnout. I’ve been very critical of Sides the last few games for the poor decision making and lack of assertiveness on the court, but she’s finally stepping up and fighting for her team instead of criticising them. She gained a lot of trust and respect from Caitlin, and the rest of the girls tonight. Her going to battle for them will make them want to go to battle for her in return. That’s how you build confidence, always have their backs. I hope you can block out all this negative energy and keep pushing. We’re rooting for you coach.

I disagree about defense; you can be average defense with amazing offense. IMO choose an identity: double down on offense like the Mavs or Warriors. Can’t shoot 40% FG% when the other team is shooting 60%…if they made half of their 22 missed shots, that’s 11 shots == 22 points. Would have won by 8-10 points. THE WNBA doesn't want Caitlin (therefore also The Fever) to win. This needs to be deeply looked into, if I am wrong so be it, but they need to look into it nevertheless. FEVER fans. Great things sometimes take time. Listen: it takes time. Some GOATS in the NBA (and other sports) have needed not only one or two seasons, but sometimes quite a few SEASONS to have winning seasons. We drove 5 hours down from Michigan to cheer on Clark, Smith and the Fever. Being in person at the game, it was difficult watching Caitlin getting mauled all night long. Seattle played very rough and the referees just weren’t calling the fouls. It was sad. I’m happy that Caitlin and Coach Sides stood up for the team. It was rough to watch and I’m sure it was far worse to play. Overall, the Fever staff and employees treated us great and we had a great time. Thank you for the memories made. Go Fever!

Has everyone seen how all the teams they’ve played seem to run offenses much more productive than the Fever? As in screens…. And when you look at the Fever they are always predictable..they don’t have CC running off screen after screen ala Steph Curry… many times when she dribbles around a screen and gets into the paint she should pull up and shoot a midrange j … coach doesn’t seem to run the offense to capitalize on CC’s quick release. Also … we all know CC is great going left and likes going left pulling back to take her 3…. I looked closely and most of the offensive sets had her going right. One more thing. … Fever players don’t set HARD screens. That would do wonders and especially if they set them multiple times in an offensive set.

I've heard a lot that the problem of this team is the defense but I disagree. In my opinion, the offense is stagnant, not a lot of players and ball movement and they've missed a lot of open shots. The other night, Boston almost had her shoulder pulled out of joint by a chick that wouldn't let her go after a block. I don't think that was even called. CC is getting fouled constantly, as teams double and triple team her, but no whistles. If the Fever brush hands with a player they're getting called for fouls. CC is hoing to end up hurt, really hurt, because refs aren't doing their jobs, and the league in general is allowing shit like Thomas grabbing Reese and throwing her down by the neck, without a single suspension. They need to put their foot down, and say play basketball, but this ain't football, and if you start hurting players on any team, you'll be suspended. Accidents happen, it's a sport, but you shouldn't have your shoulder pulled out of joint or a concussion from overly aggressive players.

They barely have a chance to work with each other outside of games. The schedule is too stacked. We’re literally watching them figure it out before our eyes. I think I can extend some grace towards that. I also feel like the practice squad needs to be a bit more aggressive with them during practice and shooting practice will definitely help

It’s been absolutely non stop since the ncaa tournament between media, flying all over the place, the crazy schedule for the fever. And then the unprecedented defence on her. I actually watch the entire wnba and I genuinely haven’t seen anybody get guarded and double teamed the way she is.

With the Pacers already on their offseason, I wonder if some of them would like to play the defenders during practice. Of course this is more than likely wishful thinking but if they're willing... 'cause the practice guys that we've seen seem to go at half-speed only. That really doesn't help the Fever in the long run.

today’s coaching by fever staff was very hard to watch. Sure they didn’t get calls, but the scheme still sucks…..this offense is stuck. CC said @ on court interview, she’s been watching a lot of Steph curry film to study him, but coach doesn’t even scheme her open correctly for her to even have curry-like success so it’s almost like she’s just being met with a lot of resistance right now. The crazy thing about it all……. Getting her open consistently wouldn’t even be hard if Sides just changed the scheme

Coach was right to keep CC out. CC didn't do anything aggregious tonight whatsoever, and kept her turnover/assist ratio within a very acceptable range (which is the biggest thing she's criticized about).

The Fever always seem to have a 3 to 4 minute stretch where everything collapses and it starts on the defensive side. Toooooo many easy shots. Critical turnovers.

You're the same clown who says Mitchell needs the ball more over CC. The defense sucks because you can't run two guards with bad on-ball defense. At least CC plays good help defense can challenge shots with her height and rebound. Mitchell gives you nothing on the defensive end. Celeste Taylor is a defensive force and can take the other team's best guard out of the game so CC can play help defense. Then this team can run 🏃🏽
