Poet’s Biography
I am 25 years old and have been writing for almost two years now it has become a huge passion of mine especially with wanting to grow and share my work with others.
Poem Description / Inspiration
It was written on a sleepless night where I wanted to depict how long it takes to write a poem but also how time is subjective and how your best work is able to come from a sleepless night in the notebook you learned to blossom in.
Poem Text
its 2:26am i said id be asleep by ten pm yesterday i do this alot where to clock becomes irrelevant and i become one with my notebook and pen
this is where my dreams come alive where i learned to fly its now 2:28am i cant be late to go to sleep already am might as well count sheep if i cant sleep meet the sand man and wake up with sleep in my eye why is it 2:30 am times not real its just pixels on a screen trying to be seen for the inbetween information for regulation of time its 2:31am i should go to bed instead of dread the unknown
