2.2CDI Chain Link Replacement. Thermotech Water pump installed with paper gasket.

The tool needs to be purchased to complete, However, it is installed regardless so I can rotate the engine. Engine Rotated just fine and correctly timed. The water pump was installed with a PAPER gasket. Not impressed but it's done. Probably leak like a sieve. Fuel pump will be tested before installation. Don't want a leaky fuel pump after all this work.

Yes, you are correct. Do not send the engine until you grab that chain link joiner. I feel your pain when you have to wait. good luck.

Thanks bud. I will need it. My main concern is the head gasket - well the non-plain head and the fuel pump. Other than that, should be ok.
