Hi! Thank you, I had the same issue at 8:35 where my s-parameter results isn't correct. Do you know why you got those results instead of the actual desired s-curve plots?

This may be because of the impedance. For Half wave dipole it is 73ohms. If I am not wrong

the solver should be time domain not integral.

Thank you for this video ,I have a question I will be glad for your reply . In your video around 2.20s, you commented about CST using 0.003669 as the coefficient for defining the dipole antenna . You also used 0.025 to evaluate the distance between the dipole . I have been unsuccessful in getting your reference manual . Could you share your CST reference where you obtained it? Thanks

Dear Wisdom, That is actually a very good question. I took this value from the Component Library. You can give any value that you want to. This will change the bandwidth of the antenna. The thicker the antenna the wider the bandwidth it will have.

Merhaba Cihan, Bunu yapmanın birçok yolu vardır. 1. Bir 'Curve' tanımlarsın ve istediğin kesit alanını curve boyunca sweep yapabilirsin. 2. iki yüzey tanımlarsın ve Loft fonksiyonu ile C şeklini oluşturabilirsin. 3. Bend Tool ile verilmiş bir parçayı bükebilrisin. Daha detaylı çizim verebilrisen yardımcı olabilirim.

Dear Candra, Can you please explain in detail your question. If you want to parameter sweep you must first define the parameter in your design.

I have some parameters to design my helix antenna. *Center frequency = 2.45 GHZ *fh = 2.6 GHz , fL = 2.3 GHz *bandwidth > 3% *Input impedance 50 ohm *Return loss < -10 dB *VSWR < 2 *Polarization RHCP *Using FR-4 material for substrate (dielectric constant 4.3) *Substrate thickness 1.6mm I have already designed with N (number of turns) = 5. Used this formula, Wavelength = 122.4mm D = diameter of helix = 38.9mm S = spacing between turns = 30.55mm C = circumference of helix =π D = 122.2mm A = total axial length = NS = 152.75mm (same as height of substrate) α= pitch angle = 14 degrees diameter of gnd plane > 1/2 lambda The problems are the return loss at center frequency 2.45Ghz, its result is beyond my expectation. Also happens for VSWR. :( I changed the number of turns become 7, and increasing the height of substrate (same as axial length), and the result for RL and VSWR are good (-30dB and 1.05), but that values at frequency 2.52 GHz. What should i do to make result be in 2.45Ghz and not 2.52 GHz like the way i got? Thank you..

In CST if you have two port you can calculate S12 parameters. In our project, we have only one port so we can only calculate S11 parameters.

Can you be more specific? If you want to design dipole, just design it in CST. Then save as near field source and place it near the ear. I believe there are models for human parts.
