I have never washed my met before cooking it, unless it smells funny or feels weird. The heat will kill any germs or bacteria on the outside of the meat. But I know a lot of people do wash their meat and scrub it, each to their own. Thank you for posting this video.
@211sweetypie4 ай бұрын
OMG girl! Chicken and pork especially should always be washed with a little lemon/ lime or vinegar mixed in water. Also wash everything down after preparing like the sink, counter and anything that the raw meat touched because the juices from these meats can breed bacteria if allowed to sit on surfaces and the raw meat is also handled by many hands during processing and packing at the stores. And you think that the heat will clean the germs? This is why I don't eat everybody's cooking.
@kfl6114 ай бұрын
Humans are tough. Mom is almost 92 and from the 1930's to the 1950's grew up with no electricity, indoor plumbing, running water or refrigeration. They put their meat up the fireplace chimney to smoke, salted it, put it in the well to keep it cold. If it got bugs in it, just cut off that buggy or moldy part and eat the good parts. It didn't seem to kill them.

This is the way to do it, without having to fuss and yes i'm like your family, unless it's stewed with gravy yea put it under the broiler and i think this is why the crock pot is not use when doing BBQ chicken because you always want that "broil factor" it reminds us of "on the grill cooking on your BBQ chicken" But your right take it out of the crock pot and put it under the broiler to get that special something that most of us love. PS. TAKING THE TIME TO DO THAT EXTRA STEP OF BROILING MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE, ONE MORE PS. PEOPLE WITH A DEVELOPED PALETTE ONLY NEED TO DO THE EXTRA STEP! FOR those who don't get it knowing the difference between "great food" and ok food
