I decided to get my crockpot out of mothballs and try this recipe. I have not had much luck in the past with crockpot chicken recipes. I was glad I took the chance with this recipe. For those worried about not adding any liquid, don't. When done, there was a small amount of a delicious sauce that came from the juices of the chicken and the rub, which I poured over the chicken legs before serving. Like some, I was worried that 4 hours on low would not give it enough time to cook through, so I started out on high for 2 hours and then turned it down to low for the last 2. They came out perfect. We are not fans of chicken skin, so I removed it before serving. Even my husband, who pretty much hates chicken, said he liked it and would eat it again. I will definitely make this chicken again.

How can someone hate chicken 😂😂
@christinepearce2915Ай бұрын
@@nickthatrick4262 My husband grew up poor, and they used to raise and kill their own chickens. I won't get into the gory details. I think it might stem from that. He doesn't hate it, but there are other things he would rather have. With the price of meat, lots of hamburger and chicken now in our house.

Thanks for the simple, short recipe. I forgot we even had a crock pot until the cold started setting in, and everyone's craving stew and roasts. The family always loves my chicken in the air fryer, but it can only fit 4 legs at a time. So this will be much easier, to cook a whole pack of legs. Gonna try this tonight with homemade spicy chili sauce, honey, and garlic! Let's see how it turns out!
