Thanks for the nice videos. My question is a bit off top - can Rathma outperform Inarius in the upcoming patch as a boss killer? ( I mean the command skeletons/bone ringer build ). 4000% vs 3750% and a free skill slot instead of bone armor. Seems promising, isn't?

Fluff this is my first time playing a Necro here in Season 13. I've been running this build so far and it's a ton of fun. My only complaint is when InGeom drops and I don't have Land of the Dead up, otherwise it's tons of fun. What "push build" would you recommend I start building for the high GR levels?

That's what the golem is for, activate the golem on top of the bad guys you want to blow up and then spam corpse explosion. Cold Lancer is the most powerful push setup for the necro.

with 1k+ para, primal ancient weapon, 40% CDR (1,8M sheet) it took me 3 full LoTD's to get belial phase 2 down... no downtime on grasp of essence. I still struggle to find a all-round good T13 split bounty build. Blood mages are consistent & fast but bug out on certain targets they won't attack. blight spear & pestilance need momentum & fail on two-phase boss fights. I'll try blood nova but the comments don't look promising. Coming from speedfarming with charge barb & expl wiz, necro feels very lackluster outside of rifts.

You should never use youtube comments as a gauge to measure how good a build is... I like Blood Mage, Blood Nova and Singularity Speed with a generator instead of Simulacrum.

Blood mages only seem to do a single attack when summoned targeted at immobile targets such as the waII spewers & worms, belial p2 (untargeted 0 attacks), which is why i was looking for another build. singul speed might be a good idea since my rathma's are augmented for group play anyways, thanks for the tip. I wouldn't let a single comment define my opinion and i'm still planning on checking blood nova out, but unfortunately youtubers overselling speed builds with amazing gear & perfect rifts is a recurring theme for diablo 3. Not saying you do this, but i'm cautious. Great guides though, and thanks for the leapquake speedfarm, most satisfying build ever.

that's totally fair, I definitely don't undersell my guides. I like to show the people what you can do when you're juiced up instead of out of the box. But I at least take out intelligence paragon.

Allright, that's honest, thank you. Question unrelated to this video but to Singularity builds: have you ever considered SoJ over CoE? Elite dmg fresh multiplier, still some elemental damage and most of all: secondary max essence. Or is it simply not enough?

I heard DiabloFans has not yet updated their database with the new buffs. So we need to wait some more days until the final iteration of 2.6.1 goes live and then DiabloFans will implement all changes.

You can for sure use a lidless wall in this setup or even the jesseth shield if you want. You'll lose damage but it's possible. The offhand slot is just a stat stick.

Florian Wolzt i think blood mage should be where you start in hardcore period, then maybe move into traditional Rathma with wisdom, unity, etc..

Hi there Fluff Master! Would you care to give a quick ranking of the necromancer builds by speed and GR level? I saw one in an old video of you where you said: 1) Trag'Oul blood mage at season start. Then move to 2) Rathma singularity mages which is faster. Finally get to 3) Pestilence full cdr corpse lance (2 piece set damage source). Is it still hte way to go? Many thanks for your help :)

After all the basic equipment is obtained, on what do you suggest spending bloodshards to best improve it? I've been fishing for a ancient off-hand (25) instead of 1-h (75), but is that worth it?

Tom Pierce yes. Start rolling ancient gear. Weapons are a pretty bad choice to roll blood shards on especially considering the value you get from upgrading scythes in the cube

Getting perfect ancient gloves can be challenging since you need CDR, Crit, Crit Damage, so I would probably start burning shard there. Maybe along the way you'll find some ancients for your other slots.

Well I'm trying it, speednig GR 50 already but took an Esoteric for more toughness over the BOP. Thanx for that early S13 strat. Farming keys and set for ratruns will be easy with that build !

it can, you can certainly make a decent TXIII build from CE & pestilence but it's the illusion of a corpse explosion build since corpse lance is still your main damage dealer.

For sure! It's just a little different on live. I've taken the old version down however. You basically drop the curse belt for witching hour, run 6p inarius without golemskin, and bone armor costs essence so you need to run dark reaping.

I have around 860k and yes, i do wear unity + follower of course as well. Maybe thats because sheet dmg is too low?

You should still be able to survive though, even if your sheet is a little weak. In the starter guide we had even less sheet than yours. Maybe pop by the stream sometime for a gear check when you can.
