Really nice comparison Fluff. I need to stop by and bug you for a gear check because i've tired the blight spear and I always find that land of the dead expires faster than the cool down and at that point i'm useless even when i'm constantly casting the spear to up the CDR. My base CDR is 58% which should be enough from what I understand. Love the singularity build though!!! Thanks for all you do.

Nice vid Fluff :) However you mixed up good and bad end of the scale in "gearing difficulty". Where all the other categories 10 is best, in gearing it is worst.

He didn't mix it up, that's the logical way of explaining it. On a 1-10 scale of difficulty, 10 would be the most difficult. "Gearing ease" might have been a better choice of words so it would be consistent with the "higher equals better" description of the other parts.

Not the only thing that follows that 10 = best or 10 = worst as playstyle is also on that scale, at least it's "first 4, 10 = good/last 2, 10 = bad" for this video Still great guide, love to see a video revisiting the builds from last season!

He should have done "Gearing Ease" and labeled it from 1 hardest to 10 easiest. The way he currently does it, 10 is bad where all other 10s are good.

I know this is a speed farming guide and not sure if you know of gr pushing builds for any of these builds? Was gonna give blood lance or singularity mage a try. Or one of the easier playstyle builds until I can get up to one of the more difficult ones. Then obviously transition to a speed build. Just wondering is all, thanks :) Love the videos btw

OneKnight1234 Blight Spear can be modified to be a push build. As far as I know you only need to swap 2-3 items and 3-4 skills

The pushing variant will look something like this: www.d3planner.com/759449620 You change the skills, main-hand, cube weapon and a few rings, maybe the amulet (Fluffy uses Endless Walk-set in his video showcase.) You can run either Ricochet or Brittle Touch depending on gear / preference (Brittle Touch is the most popular early season, but if you have good %poison amulet/bracers but no cold% Ricochet works just fine.) It's very similar to last season Blood'lance and plays about the same. Note: I took the planner link from Rhykker's tierlist video. :)

personally, not a fan of lazystorm but as a necro, you should never use devouring aura at all due to the numlock trick. You can basically have devouring aura plus another rune for free when using numlock

So for the Blood Mage build, what do you do for bounties with a boss like Malthael for instance? You'll have no way to gain essence, so that seems like a problem. You can Blood rush for a couple of corpses and try to get Command Skeleton going, but is that going to be enough damage?

usually let others take on those fights but you could pop in a generator in the primary slot instead of the golem or the curse, pretty flexible build

So for the blood mage build, the door problem... I have fixed that without having to spawn mage's and waste essence on them.. Fire walker boots. They give a good movement speed bonus, on top of your Paragon bonus, then they also do 310% weapon damage each second, when a monster is burned by the (very short) fire trail it leaves. Which means it deals with doors.

no, I ran it myself for 500-600 paragon this season. You'll probably just forgetting something, stop by the stream sometime and we can do a gear check.

it's viable sure but it's much slower than everything on the list. I've mainly just kept builds that do GR 65 in 3m and under consistently

For the Num-lock trick for builds like Blood Mage and Singularity, how do you avoid the chat box getting bugged and not going away? It drives me insane, don't mind using Numlock outside of that, but because of that damn bug I stopped for now and I'm just spamming Devour manually.

The chat box within the game on the left, for instance when someone comes online the message can get in the way of re-rolls, but normally you can just click on the chat bubble on the bottom left to hide it or wait a few seconds for it to go away on its own. While i was using Numlock, it would get bugged and not go away. Didn't know what was going on at first, but someone I was playing with said it was happening while he used Numlock so he stopped using it.

Why does anyone bother running Trag'Ouls Bloodmage in 2.6.1? You can literally use the exact same runes and passives with Rathma and perform even better. Blood Nova is the only decent reason to run the Trag set now and unfortunately as a hardcore player this means auto salvage.

Probably because it's insanely easy to put together, really easy to play and can feel tankier in TXIII due to the double health and healing. Plus the added benefit of every blood rush rune is no slouch. Rathma is more damage and raw mitigation, no doubt.

Gathering one set or another is kinda the same thing really, with the exception of season 12 Haedrigs. Anyway, I look forward to more videos from you on the Necromancer, if and when anything new comes about. The only real question I have is about Blight Spear... I would imagine you've tested Shredding Splinters because it allows you to drop Rigor Mortis for Fueled By Death and maintain the initial proc on Krysbin, synergy with Nayrs etc, but you don't mention this in your videos. Do you find the theoretical 20% damage bonus from Ricochet to be a very noticeable difference in your clear times?

With blight spear, since I'm always doing the 80+ version, I generally drop rigor mortis for rathma's shield. Dying after you pop LOTD is a deal breaker and using the shield to your advantage can be really nice.

Is it just me who feels that our characters are too overpowered? The combat is way to fast and mind numbing, I didn't play much Diablo 2 but I just wish Diablo 3's gameplay would slow down and let us enjoy combat more.
