Keep in mind this is on PTR with all primals perfectly rolled. In real life application and the horse fuckery of rolls you will get, 80-85 is a more realistic max GR @ 800 paragon.

AS buffs do not buff the AS of Skeletal Mages. It does buff sheet damage therefor buffing Mage damage, but only the 'Tasker and Theo' buff the Mages AS.

How can someone survive thunderstorm and other instant damage spells without the final service passive? I always get such affixes in my rifts and without this cheat death passive I die instantly and constantly.

I know nothing about it, but i check the chart you posted, stating that the next breakpoint is at 33.4% ias. so my question is. Yeah it's not his primal, it's generated ;) You can clearly see it's from software and not in game. Another thing the gems are lvl100...and some discription doesn't looks legit. I have never see someone have full Primal set. Also if you check Leaderboards best players dont have at all or just few. Chrono Pie no room for it on the push build and the speed build doesnt need it. the endless walk set is invaluable to survival aswell as overall dps and the ring (forgot the name of it) that lets you summon 2 mages is a must, krisbans is also a must on almost all necro builds. in the speed farm you are looking for speed you dont want to be waiting for the cycle of coe. but it would be a decent buff if you dont have all the build yet.

The weapon damage type doesn't matter. Hes referring to the percent bonuses found on your neck and bracers. Archers is a cold skill, which wants cold % instead of physical %.

Enforcer only helps mages when it comes to toughness; they said command skeletons die after a certain number of hits regardless of how hard they are hit. Don't ask me why they did that.

They did that because this d3 team wanted their necromancer to constantly raise creatures to look cooooooool. But according to every fantasy in every universe of multiverse undeads (skeletons expecially) don't feel pain, they don't tire but most importantly they don't expire after some hits. Too bad nobody told this to these morons.

When I look at my character details it says I have 45% CDR, but it doesn't count my helm gem.... I should be at 57.5.....??? When I time my CDR on land of the dead it's at 65 seconds??? Should it not be under 60 if my cdr is over 50%?

CDR is a % reduction property and as such isn't an additive property but an inverse multiplicative property. For example if an item has 10% CDR it means the cooldown duration is 90% of what it was before. If you have 50 paragon points in CDR that is 10% CDR and a diamond in the helm is 12.5% CDR (87.5% cooldown length). 0.9 * 0.875 = 0.7875 or 78.75% cooldown time, which equates to 21.25% CDR, not 22.5 which would be the sum of 10 + 12.5. 45% CDR means 55% cooldown time, so your cooldown should be 66 seconds (120 * 0.55). And your sheet CDR should include the diamond in your helm.

I'm trying this build out, i'm in no way professional when it comes to diablo. I can grift level 70 with the build but I get 1 tapped. I have to fight from range and hope nothing hits me I died about 6 times but then I killed the boss in 3 seconds. Its very polarizing is there anyway I can survive longer with this set?

I'm doing 80s right now and I have the same issue, the enemies that actually can hit me cause problems. I can still take 2 or 3 hits before I go down, I use a Amethyst instead of a Diamond in helm though

I'm still not sure about that. They way it is described is "Every point of Maximum Essence increases your damage by 0.5%", "maximum essence" is the name of the affix on a weapon (and offhand) and also in the first tab of the paragon points and on a passive. Meaning that if you take the base amount of 200 in consideration and the max you have is 310. Then this would mean a damage boost of 310-200 = 110 --> 55% increased damage. But i can't find it anywhere if that is really how it works :)

That doesn't sound right. I'm 99% sure when it's referring to Maximum Essence, it literally means your current Maximum Essence.

Yeah that is true, i just got it confirmed by Rhykker (someone i believe :)). But before that i couldn't found a diffentive answer. It does mean your current maximum essence (i.e. 320 or 310 etc) and not 310 - 200 = .....

That is one of the most important in the build, the mages last longer and you get TWO for ONE so thats a huge damage bonus, CoE cant even get near to that

ScorpTeKs late response but I think you use the land of the dead perk that generates corpses to get the ball rolling. Once you have started progressing in rift you should have unlimited essence and your pets do all the work. You just have to be more mindful that you're not summoning mages or commanding skeletons needlessly (already have 10 mages, skeletons already attacking, or have a stretch of no mobs) or else hope LotD is up again when you reach your next pack. Note that you will likely need a resource generator at higher GR. But this is the first season I've really tried to push beyond 70 (@65 atm) so others can correct me if I'm wrong.

its really easy to just look at the leaderboards, find the first place with the rathma set and just completely copy it. this build is not the best right now i guess cause the first 10 in the leaderboards with rathma all got different weapons and skills than this.

He's using Reapers Wraps, so the more health globes on the ground the more essence he can obtain quickly so the 20% extra chance is helpful with those bracers on and that's why he's got it in the build.

month late but for what its worth, i was speed running 70s and got up to 86 with like 300 ending at around 600 paragon. build is super easy and strong without ancients.

Thats fine, the first hours of diablo can be played with skills placed in their basic category positions. But when you're starting to use the set bonuses, then you need the elective mode for maximaze your build.
