This is the most fastest tutorial I have ever seen, it's not the same like the other tutorials where it had to be 10+ minutes and it actually is easy to do, thanks for the help.

If you can't find the Surface tab to add the texture to the character, then go to the top middle of your blender and change from Blender Render to Cycles Render. Then you will see the same texture panels as him. Good luck!

I tried that and it didn't work. I have a surface section now, but all it says is use nodes and diffuse color.

No its not, you downloaded the wrong version of blender. I had the same problem

Nicee! Can blender do motion sensor tracking? I mean like... a CGI faces. When people talk in front of camera, blender match the movement of the lips, eyebrows, face rotation. You know what i mean, right? Do you have tutorial for that?

What if you have a very specific type of object, with a very specific layout of textures. The texture needs to go on the object so everything lines up. Like how do you wrap a full body texture onto a player model.

It all depends on your budget and how important portability is for you. I personally use a desktop computer for Blender and gaming and a Macbook Pro for everything study -and work--related.

um yeah he lost me at TAB and click U to unwrap but he clicked something else or selected the head or did something cause I dont have an unwrp or uv menu suddenly pop up. He went way too fast and left out a lot o f what he was doing. I think he enjoys talking over peoples heads sounding all superior.
