2 am thoughts about grief and losing my father

My father was the most amazing man I had ever known. He passed away a year and a half ago. I miss him so much. Grief is a complicated journey, one I’ll deal with for the rest of my life and I aim to show the innards of human vulnerability, even when it gets uncomfortable. I’m sorry if you relate, as it’s not an easy pain to deal with.

I'm sorry for your lost I do hope you'll find peace and courage that everything will be okay and just to let you know he's in heaven watching so any you and want you to be happy and enjoy life and making him proud that what he wants. Losing a parent or guardian at a very young age do take s a toll on you and think they will be living forever and never going away especially if you are very close with them till this day I'm I'm recovery from my lose but when I accomplished things in life i know it makes them feel happy. Life is short and lofe can teach you in so many ways but all have to keep moving forward and enjoy the best moments while you still young. Keep your head up!

Lost my father 2 months ago, he was my everything whatever I wanted to do I wanted to do for him and give him everything and more. I still cry everyday when I wake up just thinking about him. Hope you find the strength to overcome this and I relate to that lonely feeling, till this day I feel like nobody can understand what I feel like and I don’t know whom to talk to or what to do. But I’m trying my hardest to achieve his dreams and make him damn proud of me. Take care of my family and achieve everything he desired. My father always said that the best gift he received was me and my brother, I wish I had the chance to tell him a lot of things, ask him a lot of questions and just meet him again. Hope you find strength and take care of your family

Thank you so much for sharing your story, and I am so sorry for your loss too. I feel the same way for my father. I wish there were things I could’ve said more before he passed. Everything I do, I do for him and my family. Grief manifests itself differently for each person, and it’s dependent on the relationship you had with the person, whether it was positive or negative. I know what you mean too, about not knowing where to put your grief. It comes and goes in waves you cannot predict. It’s a very isolating feeling, even if there are people who have experienced the same thing they may or may not experience it at the same intensity or depth as you. It’s a very lonely path. I truly hope you achieve your dreams and make yourself and your family proud.

@@AnLittleAlexI don’t usually comment on KZbin videos, but could really relate to you and thought you needed to hear my thoughts, especially as I’m pretty young too ig (21). Just know that he’ll always be with you in your heart and just try and picture him smiling and laughing always and you do the same too, because I guess he would want you too keep smiling, laughing and prospering

Grief is even worse when you go through it alone, all my wife’s friends and family melted away after she died. The only person who totally loved and understood me has gone. It never gets any easier.

@@babettesfeast6347 I totally know what you mean. Same with everyone that knew my father, except my mom of course. It’s pretty devastating
