Your videos are a great source of inspiration, we sincerely thank you!! What a lovely change from a chlorinated cement bowl to the manufactured wetlands, paradise! We are older DIYers and we are v e r y slowly making a swim pond here in the Central Texas hill country (we dug a hole!) We are at the point of deciding if a liner is better or concrete...or both. We would love an episode that goes over the details of the plumbing of the swim ponds with wetlands, including what pump sizes to use for different parts, how the filtration works from the swim area to up under the gravel and then through the plants, and where to put filters/skimmers, including the invisible edge as a skimmer that Patrick spoke about...so excited!!!

Greg you know I love your ponds but last year when you went back to see people’s ponds, not one person had looked after or added vegetation to pop/jaw drop anyone setting eyes on the build. They were built but basically maintained if at all. This build is how I see any build after 12mths. Bloody awesome pond 🍺🍺

I want to know what they planted on that island? I'm a garden designer and the only thing that I could think to plant on such a feature island is a Moreton Bay Fig. But I know very little about making ponds so I don't know if it would go well with a lined pond. Either way, amazing video, amazing art on display here!

Huge question ' how do you keep the gaters out ? That thought is pretty scary ! I've known people who had gaters get into their pools and this thing is a gorgeous pond in Australia " its got to be tricky to keep them out and the pond be safe ! The work you guys do is beyond amazing , really enjoyed this video , your work"wow!

There's no real way to keep them out, without having a fenced in area.

So, basically everything is BIGGER in Australia!;) Hey Jaak, Patrick could still learn something from you... he doesn't have your Urn & light treatments. He's got the beautiful natural looking pond set up but he still needs the Ferrari at the house. With that lake, do they get enough rainfall to keep that thing topped off? The evaporation must be immense!

I’m afraid this video has brought out the worst in me and turned me into a green eyed monster. You see before I watched this, I was perfectly content with my 2000 litre backyard pond, but now I realise it its not the labour of love I was so proud of, it is an embarrassing puddle. Because I want THAT pool to be MY pool, and as a certain Ms Salt once famously said, I don’t care how, I want it now!!! So thanks for turning this formally content pond person a deep alge green with envy 😉
