I absolutely love the 1 bedroom style and bathroom. The studio is no big deal.

1:57 - "I don't dislike them. I hate this whole building." ( Raises mug in toast to Tom. ) Because you're right, sir. Because you're right.

I understand the people staying 😅n these are not average visitor. They can have what they want inside. B😮t why destroy the experience for everyone else at the Polynesian and everywhere else on the monorail?! It is not even close to the right building for this spot.

I agree with Tom, a quick fix for the color problem would be the curtains, if they had a similar green pattern it would brighten up the room. Otherwise, I really like these rooms. I do appreciate that it is calm but interesting. Enough ip tucked here and there but not overdone. If I were to become a DVC person, it might be this one because I feel like I can bring my elderly parents here and they would do just fine. Take a kid or two to early entry for the thrill rides, folks get to sleep in, then late morning the old dears shuffle over on the monorail to join us. I can also see myself with a kid or two in the studio if its just us doing a "just us" trip.

I found this video review/tour very fair considering the monstrosity that the building itself is. I think you did a good job of stating your options about the building, while separating that from the room review. I don't think I would have been able to divide my mind like that.

These aren't bad. The building is awful, but these rooms seem nice. And that view is insane.

Thanks for this Tom! Good video as always! I call them poop closests - and that’s just weird 😂 That half door negates the purpose of a door 😅

WDW News. Tom, Tangaroa Terrace sadly missed. You remember when breakfast cost $. 95 to $4.25, or the outdoor Snack Isle at the side of the Terrace, a burger $1.95. Happy Day's. Cheers, Chris Perry.

33:03 TOLET ART! hahahaha. Taken out of context, that would be odd. I'm really glad that the studio has actual cups and dishes, rather than disposable. The paper/single-use plates and cups in other studios really really bugs me. Rhode put a lot of care and consideration into designing Aulani, and they should have taken some cues from that design. This is better than the contemporary update, yes, but still falls into the generic, pseudo-Vegas style of The Riviera, and Grand Destino (IMO). It seems well-thought out in terms of layout, etc, but style-wise, it doesn't hold a candle to the other MK resorts.

so this joins kidani and BLT with the extra bathroom off the living room. Very convenient!!

Rooms seem nice, pretty standard for disney, i do not like the one bed in studio, much prefer 2 beds. I assume it sleeps a standard of 9 people, as with other 2 bedrooms, looks kind of small for that many, especially kitchen table looks like you can have 5 people tops at one time. Balcony view is pretty nice. Lots of beige, maybe calming affect? You forgot to talk about point chart.

So wait, you are telling me that a one bedroom villa at the new tower has TWO full bathrooms like AKL and Bay Lake?! Nice.
@capwkidd8 күн бұрын
Awesome, a 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms! Yes! I hate sharing a bathroom in a 1 bedroom! Which other resorts have a 1 bedroom with 2 bathrooms (besides GCA)?

The room layout is the exact same as the Disneyland Hotel DVC tower, with some minor differences on the studio side.

Just wondering if there are dedicated 2 bedrooms with a lock off, so in effect you have a 3 bedroom?

The room interiors are pretty nice. The outside of the building and location especially are just horrendous.

Nice but im not impressed. Maybe actual hotel designers and architects should create the hotels and not imagineers
@WDWNT8 күн бұрын
The problem is they hired actual hotel designers to be Imagineers, you have it backwards

@@WDWNT wow. Michael Graves is my favorite architect. He designed the Dolphin and Swan hotels and other Disney buildings including the headquarters in Burbank. Michael Eisner knew what he was doing when he hired him.
