my father is incredibly abusive, and ive had to move countries to get away from him. every time i see how your dad interacts with you all, how he cares so deeply about you and how deeply it seems your family have bonded, i cry. its bittersweet, because of course its something that i dont have, but as i prepare for the holidays in my apartment and miss what i dont have, im reminded that i should have had it and that it exists. i have it in my friends, the chosen parts. im so grateful to see that, thank you so much. happy holidays to all of you, i hope pumpkin gets better. love from a swede in scotland

Your vlogs have helped my mental health a lot. I'm Southeast Asian, I grew up living with six our more family members and it's caused a lot of frustration growing up. I never saw myself sort of reflected on social media because whenever I saw teenagers and people in their twenties they were always filming themselves going on trips, moving out to expensive apartments etc.. and there was this underlying idea that living with family = seclusion and not being a real adult. You showing this part of your life makes me so happy and less lonely. Someone knows what it's like!
