I love Dark Fury. I diluted it about 15:1 and used it on our shower. There was mineral stains and soap scum that wouldn’t not come off, no matter what I tried. I sprayed the diluted dark fury on and rinsed it off, it took off 70-80% just by rinsing. I lightly scrubbed the remaining off and now it looks like new. I have several of their products and I’m impressed with all of it. Very economical too.

Used Dark Fury for the first time yesterday after watching one of your earlier videos for removing bugs. My wife's SUV is white and the front end was caked. Unbelievably good stuff! I was using Meguiars D143 for years, but prices went way up. Tried Dark Fury a couple weeks ago and I’m really impressed!!! Locally it’s half the price of Megs too. Dark Fury also works really well on rubber/all weather floor mats.

I used Dark Fury diluted at 10:1 on a silver hood to remove black residue from sitting under trees. It also did great on removing tar from the rocker panels and black carbon from chrome tailpipes. All I used was my pressure washer! Thank you!

I have been using Dary Fury for quite a while. I really love the way it cleans wheels and that I can use it for other things. One place it does really well is the area around the gas cap. That area under the little door is just a dirt trap. Dark Fury busts through that dirt like nothing else. I also like to use it on the truck and hood sills which collect tons of dirt as well. Makes really short work of things. I really need to try it on the front of the car now to get rid of bugs and road grime. Seems like I should have tried this already but you learn something new every day.

I use steam and products from the Eco-Sense line by Melaleuca, those being Tough & Tender all purpose, Clear Power for glass and Rustic Touch for conditioning leather. Customers love it and so do my hands (I simply can't wear gloves).

I would be very careful with Dark Fury. I used it as a pre-wash to loosen surface dirt and bugs at a 10:1 ratio. After a few minutes I noticed the grey colored trim around my windows becoming oxidized and splotchy (2022 Kia Sorento). While I love the product and how well it works... be VERY CAREFUL with where you apply it. Always spot test first! That being said, great video as always, Luke. Keep up the great work!

Did a nasty white Frontier work truck yesterday this same process was done in 1.5 inside and out with Spray 4 in a foam cannon and hp rinse and it looked like I hand waxed that truck all the tar and bugs and grease no scrubbing truck looked new and waxed again!

For what it's worth. Most of the times, I use vinegar at 12%. Sold usually for cleaning purposes. In fact my two preferred usage is wheels and rust removing! Awesome on both. At home it goes for general cleaning fridge, pipes, kitchen counters...

I have found the dilution ratio more 5:1 on Dark Fury to be effective in my area on Maui. Additionally, Superior has a great bundle package in 1/2 gallon sizes to try a lot of their products. Interesting, one by one , I’ve been replacing my go to products with this brand for the bulk of my work. Still keep other products for occasional use.

Would Dark Fury strip ceramic coating or damage ppf? I want to try it as a bug remover and also to clean rocker panels, but I'm paranoid it would damage my ceramic coated ppf. Also, @ 13:23, isn't the pressure gun dangerously close to the paint? I've heard you gotta keep it 6 inches away from the paint and 12 inches away from the trim to avoid damage. I actually damaged the clear coat on my old car before I knew any better. I was trying to pressure wash some bird droppings from my car by getting in super close with the pressure washer. It took less than a month for those spots to show bubbling on the clear coat.

Always been a big fan of acid wheel cleaners like Meguiar's Wheel Brightener. I have tight spoke wheels. So, using Wheel Brightener makes it so much easier to remove brake dust from the tight spots.

Dark Fury is a fantastic wheel cleaner. I'm going to try it as an exterior pre-soak now thanks to this video. I have also had good luck with Nanoskin Non-Acid Wheel Cleaner which is also very economical. Suds Lab XA appears to be the same formula as Dark Fury, on the shelf at Wal-Mart, but not nearly as economical.

I bought some Turtle wax iron remover last weekend and used some on my wheels. It did every bit as good a job as the stuff you showed did. Not a bit of scrubbing and wheel was shiny clean, iron free also. The car I tested it on just had a 2,500 mile trip to Colorado including a run up Pikes Peak (14,115 feet). I have ferro carbon pads which are also a bit dirtier than the normal ceramics. First time I've found anything that can really clean wheels.

Dark fury is an excellent product as you highlighted in this video. I think its the best tire and wheel cleaner hands down for the price and the durability is exceptional. I like using it for pre soaking prior to a full detail and my favorite use is for dirty door jams.

How is Dark Fury at removing salt? In Niagara Falls the roads are salted regularly in winter months. My SUV is covered in it, along with road grime and whatnot. Would you also use Dark Fury before using a clay bar/towel?

I've used the Black Fury on factory black Toyota rims and no adverse effects. The Aluminum Brightner I would think it should only be used on Aluminum alloy rims that are not painted. I think the acidic composition can ruin paint. Someone that may know can chime in.

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@wilsonautodetailingI can try to help on this Luke!! Wire Wheel Cleaner is composed of Hydrofluoric Acid, Phosphoric Acid, 2-Butoxyethanol and a detergent. F-30 is just Phosphoric Acid and Hydrofluric Acid. Both will do a similar job when it comes to cleaning mineral based deposits on your paint and wheels however Wire Wheel Cleaner will do a better job at not only cleaning but brightening the appearance because of the added surfactants. Both products can be used at full strength however it would be overkill for the typical amount of contamination on a vehicle. You would normally only do this on extremely dirty vehicles such as in the fleet detailing world on bare unpolished metal. Something like a heavily corroded excavator or dump truck. Even then that would be rare. (Great news because you get more for your money diluting it down) Normal dilution ratios for both products are are as follows: Wheel Cleaning - 4:1 Removal of Oxidation - 3:1 Water Spot Removal - 8:1 Removal of Brake Dust - 10:1 *side note for Luke… you can download a little book from my website that has all my dilution ratios and even some off label use cases for the products I use for my business. It does seem pretty strong, and maybe bot something i need to use all the time, so maybe something like Dark Fury could be used on regular maintenance washes. Technically you can, but you CAN NOT let it sit too long nor dry completely on the painted wheels. I still wouldn't chance it though. You could try a higher dilution to make it less of a risk. I would not use it as wheel maintenance, only if the wheel is hammered.

I used it at the recommended dilution rate on a cold bike out of air conditioned garage. Fury discolored my powder coated front wheel. Bike was in sun while applied but was rim was still cool to touch. I definitely wouldn't apply it to any painted surfaces.

@@KennyKern1 I tried DF as a pre-soak on single stage today, diluted 4:1. I wouldn’t recommend it, it seems to seep into the single stage pores and leaves a stain. I’ll have to polish it out. Other off label uses: 10:1 in a foam cannon as pre-soak on clear coat, I can get away with touchless, especially when the vehicle has a sealant or coating. We use 3D bead it up and it doesn’t strip.

I love both types of products. I'm a bigger fan of RCP Copperhead instead of Dark Fury. It's cheaper and dilutes the same and imo, is stronger. Nonetheless, Dark Fury full strength can be used as a touchless solution. Acids are tremendous and I used to use them exclusively. With this acid, does it stain the tires like acids tend to do?

Have you tried Superior White Wall 1000 for really dirty/browning tire cleaning. Its my go to over Dark Fury in those circumstances. Wear appropriate protection when using. Another sleeper product of there's is Non Acid Universal Cleaner.

I use Marolex sprayers they can be purchased for alka and acid types. I do flush the sprayers after each use. They last a very long time if you do this. If you did need to rebuild the sprayer, you can get replacement orings, etc for them too.
