This is the best video I've seen so far. Another that I saw didn't show you what happens on the following round but this one does. I'm using up yarn from brioche socks by making a cowl and I have enough yarn to turn it into a hood. The increases help with that.

May I ask what cast-on you used for this swatch? Obviously not the two-colour Italian, but I can’t make out which alternative you chose here? P.S. Your tutorials are fantastic. Thanks!

Hi JJ, you are so correct, good eye. I just Cast On normally and worked a couple of rows of Garter Stitch as this was just a teaching sample.
