2 Corinthians: The Bible Explained

Watch our Introduction video on the book of 2 Corinthians, which outlines the book's main theme and how it is fulfilled in Jesus.
2 Corinthians shows how God's strength is made perfect in weakness. This is seen most clearly in Paul's dealings with the so-called "Super Apostles" that had taken over leadership of the church he planted in Corinth. The Super Apostles boasted in their abilities, connections, and power. But Paul showed that, for those in Christ, true power comes in weakness.

How is this still reflecting in today's church amazes me,it shows that the human heart is the same at everytime, and only by receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior can a heart be changed. And the letters to the Corinthians even show a more concerning thing, that even after being saved, the human heart can still be swayed if not properly guarded. May God give us wisdom and zeal to guard our hearts anchored on Christ, on the simplicity of the Gospel and not be swayed by flashy, 'modern" things happening within the Church 🙏
