The heavy haulage unit with the transformer trailer was an amazing catch. There was a train wreck in the UK 40 years or so ago when an express passenger hit a transporter like that as it crossed the line. It was messy, many died. Makes me shiver thinking about it. Great grab bag again!

0:16 CSX 6025 with the 3-car inspection train with the SP car, while the other two have yet to be repainted into a B&O-style livery 0:42 three light geeps in Ashland 1:52 nice to see that union Equity hopper on a BNSF grain train 1:58 seven M8 cars. They usually run in pairs, but some get broken up 3:05 wow, a UP dynamic tamping machine in the middle of an NS mixed freight (you can see a BNSF one in action at 17:22) 3:32 Amtrak 184 and 130 doubleheading! 3:50 wow! Amtrak P32AC-DM 708 trailing on the Lake Shore Limited! That unit will come in handy when it reaches New York City 6:17 two H2 dash 9s, and two WAMX Port Corpus Christi geeps. The port railway system used to be a part of the G&W system 8:03 BNSF OCS again (and again at 10:55 and 19:35) 9:20 Amtrak 184 and 130 doubleheading! What a cool combo of heritage units 10:06 yes you do look good, goose of Deshler 11:20 WOW! a Schnabel truck! It works basically the same as the giant freight cars where the two halves bolt to the ends and bottom of the oversized cargo 14:12 that thankfully doesn't happen very often 15:53 I see someone wants the Deshler depot 16:22 Loram ballast wheel making a mess of the platform 18:38 three Saratoga and North Creek coaches and NS 1065 as DPU, while NS 5642 passes on another train 20:56 K&O's ex-SP gray unit

Regarding 6:36, new locos for Corpus Christi. Many years ago, as I recall, rail service at the Port of Corpus Christi was evenly divided between the Union Pacific (former Missouri Pacific) and the Southern Pacific (prior to merger) with each carrier running the rail service for a set time. Corpus Christi's then 3rd railroad, the Texas Mexican (Tex Mex, now KCS) did not participate. Later on the Tex Mex did decide to participate and I believe that participation was prior to the KCS. At 15:45, I wonder if any plans are afoot to rehabilitate the depot at Deshler?

I believe the depot at Deshler is scheduled for demolition, though if so it seems to be on hold at present. The tower will stay as a base for maintenance crews.
