I am fortunate in two ways: E0 is sold here not far from my home and the station I go to only sells E0, and they have all three grades. So if someone bought a higher grade before me, I'll get that until 87 Regular starts starts flowing. No worries about ethanol there. However, they used to be 30 cents more per gallon than Walmart where I bought gas before E!5 was everywhere, but now it's been $.40/gal more for weeks while Walmart like $2.85/gal now where it was $3.00/gal for a while. This station used to have the lowest E0 price, being 30 cents more/gal, but I'll have to shop station prices again. It's approaching 50 cents per gallon more. I'm actually fortunate in three way because I guess Louisiana's Gulf Oil production keeps our prices lower than the nationwide average. I know it's horrible in New York, but I use E0 in my 1995 car and all my small engines because all the damage ethanol causes. I know about 2-stroke small engine carb diaphragms, fuel lines and bulbs, but it's also horrible for vehicles older than 2011. Newer vehicles are designed to handle E15. Good luck with the Trimmer. Hopefully, it's a kill switch or wiring issue, not hard to find. I wonder if those coils can be rebuilt. I think I've seen videos on it. Give it a search.

WOW $2.85 a gal!!! Haven't seen that price since........Don't want to get political. We were close to $4.00 but strange just this week I found a local price at $3.49. Most of the stations still at $3.69 to $ 3.89. This is for 87 oct 10% E. I just bought home heating oil at $3.79 priced more than gas!!! This nonsense # 2 oil priced more than gas has been going on for some time. In our area no tax on heating oil, it is a lower grade than gas but priced more. Yep no gouging here. Ethanol damage is more serious & costly than most people realize. One of the 3 biggest scams in America Ethanol gas. We will leave the other 2 out for now, Don't want to get political. Both trimmers had too many non carb issues to put more time into them. I have to check on how to rebuild the coils if possible. Not expensive for the trimers but I had some riding mowers that needed new coils & they were pricey before the Covid & this inflation crisis we are now in. Stay well, Joe Z

@@JOEZEP54 You can buy E10 there???!!! 😮 I thought E15 was everywhere, by order if not mandate because EPA also wanted it, plus the farmers. I ran E10 in my car for decades and that was tolerable, but also there were no other choices (that I knew of because I didn't need them then). Then E15 hit and I learned that E0 is required for my car and is best for all my small engine devices (for reasons stated), so now I pay the E0 premium to keep them running more trouble free. I just need to see if I can find any cheaper. It's odd that Big Oil says adding ethanol is an added expense, but E0 without it costs more. 🤔 Hmmm

I had videoed the weed whacker being taken apart but did not follow my usual procedure so the no spark got by me. No problem I figure, ( HA HA ) I have all these WW laying around. Only one had the same coil. What are the chances that one was also bad? 100% There were other issues with it so I did not purchase a new coil. Do you use any of Hipa's parts?
